Three Brothers Tile & Marble

November of 2020 we had our floors done by Gregorio over Three Brothers Tile and Marble. Six months- if even that- the tiles started to crack. So we contacted him, he came out, took a look at them and said it was my house that was settling because of the weight. He brought his laser out and he confirmed his self that my house had not settled since he installed the floors. He said we should reinforce our crawls space. We’ll shortly after that more and more tiles starting to break and even the grout started to crumble. We contacted him again and this time he said he wasn’t going to fix it and he would file it with his insurance. This was back in june/July of 2021. Here we are January 2022, no insurance has contacted me, his secretary said she filed the paperwork again because to her it seemed that the person before her hadn’t done it ?. Now there’s cracked tiles EVERYWHERE, literally! We had our living room, dinning room and kitchen done. My kids walk on these floors and right now when I called his office again I expressed this to the guy who answered and all he could say was SILENCE??! They keep telling the insurance will contact you. Uhhhhh yea I know that but I can’t believe they haven’t called me in 6 months ?. We showed Gregorio pictures of the work when it was being done where they left all of the old broken up plywood on top of the insulation, they didn’t secure the new plywood properly to the beams, they left my vents dangling and not to mention the mess his worker left all over my floors. His response: they did clean it all out the told me they did ? excuse me but the whole 2 weeks your guys were here you didn’t step foot on my property but maybe once to “check” the job and another to collect the money. This is just plain ridiculous. We run a business as well and we would NEVER do this to a customer!

The work looks good, but the shower leaked TWICE into the room below.  After the second time the shower failed, they wanted to charge more and clearly did not understand what the problem was.  Our last discussion ended with Three Brothers blaming the framing job, but subsequent discussions with framing contractors and other tile installation providers exposed the true problem, which was a SECOND faulty pan liner in the shower.   I advise you to use a more knowledgeable provider if you are getting a shower installed.  They did well on the tile only portion (walls and floors).

It took about a week for a crew of 4-5 to complete the work and we were comfortable having them in our home. Greg was easy to work with and the tile has been holding up well since. I have recommended their services to others.

Gave estimate on phone based on the number of square feet. Designed framed area over the sink. Installed one day, grouted the next and was done.

They were amazing. Gregory and his crew were punctual, motivated and eager to do a great job. Our kitchen previously had no backsplash and therefore our kitchen was so bland. After the installation (we chose travertine 4" tiles with a mosiac tile for accent) it was a new room. We had an idea of what we wanted for a design, but not being a "tile designer" we didn't know how to best communicate our design to Gregory. He immediately knew exactly what we were trying to achieve and actually drew it out on our wall to ensure that we were all in agreement of the design. Within minutes the installer was placing the tiles on the wall and our kitchen was completely transformed into a showroom within 6 hours. They were so polite and hardworking - I don't think the poor installer ever took a break in the 6 hours he was there! And not from lack of asking, he would just politely decline and continue his work. Very professional demeanor and great service. I can't recommend these guys enough. A++
