"It is always Terra's Green mission to provide 100% customer satisfaction with every property we service. We are disappointed that you do not feel we have met your expectations. Last year after we began maintaining your property, you chose to include the recommended Brown Patch treatments and wrote us to let us know "the yard is looking much better and thanked us for the hard work". This year, you chose not to include the recommended treatments in your service plan. Unfortunately, in certain conditions, when customers elect not to apply the recommended fungicides and treatments, there is no way to get the grass to our standards. Shrubs have a useful life expectancy and many of the shrubs on the property had significant existing deterioration and did not respond to treatments we provided, many of which we did free of charge."
First, the Irrigation expert came to my home to evaluate the system. Eddie is as courteous and professional as any individual I have ever had at my home. He took time to ask me about the problem before digging in to the system. I was treated with respect and empathy for the apparently common treatment I received from the city. He checked the entire system from top to bottom and found zero evidence of a leak. (exactly as I told the city) He went above and beyond his duty by suggesting I get the city to come to the house again and this time, he would be there to support what I was telling them. When I got lined up with a city supervisor, I left a message with Eddie notifying him of the appointment time. Eddie called me back shortly after that from his car on the way to the beach with his family. I couldn't believe he took the time to do that. He said the appointment was before he would return from the beach but he would make arrangements to have someone there with me.
At the set time, PJ (owner of Terra Green also super courteous and professional) showed up at my home and began looking over everything and getting a full understanding of what was going on. The individual from the city showed up 1 hour and 15 minutes late. PJ patiently waited with me. (I was not as patient). In the end, the city supervisor agreed that something was very wrong with the bill and there was no sign of either a leak or over-watering. The city adjusted my bill accordingly and we are still trying to figure out what caused the bad meter readings.
The bottom line for this review is this: Terra Green understands customer service and professionalism. They went way beyond the service of an average company, let alone landscape company. I will certainly hire these guys for my next landscape project.
"Terra Green Landscapes values all of its customers and we were sorry to lose the members as one of our maintenance customers. On February 21, 2010 we received a service request from him via email and the next day our account manager Todd responded. A service visit was scheduled for February 23rd as Terra Green always tries to respond to our customer’s requests in a timely manner. During this service visit our crew made a mistake and incorrectly removed a 4 inch tree from his property. The removal was our mistake and we take full responsibility for our crew’s actions. That evening the member emailed Todd, about his concerns and canceled his service with Terra Green. Todd promptly telephoned the member and left a message asking the member to call his cell phone. On the morning of the 24th Todd emailed the member and apologized for the mistake. In his email Todd also offered to work through the issue as Terra Green always tries to respond to its customers. I visited the property with Todd on February 24th to review the matter and speak with the Woods directly. When we arrived at the the member's residence no one was at home. Terra Green did not hear back from him however I decided not to invoice his $280.00 for his February service in light of our crew’s mistake. I reviewed the member's registered letter requesting reimbursement for the four inch tree on April 5th and our accounts payable department scheduled an electronic payment to him in the amount of $258.63. I received notification from Angie’s list regarding the Wood’s matter on Saturday April 17th at 1:00pm and in an effort to expedite the member's reimbursement I will be delivering a handwritten check to his residence today. Terra Green Landscapes has a long tradition of delivering quality services to its customers and has tried to rectify the mistake we made in servicing the members' property."
