Superior Fence & Rail of Charlotte LLC

First, let me preface that we did use this company, and this review comes after the fence was installed. This is for Superior Fence & Rail of Charlotte LLC on 730 Commerce Dr, Concord, NC 28025, office 704-862-4941. This review specifically regards the GM Ryan (who declined to provide his last name), I believe he owns this franchise. First, we were unaware this was a franchise. From our initial consultation, we were told this was one company that has been in business for 20+ years. The operation manager, April, was wonderful to work with and the installers were fantastic at their job. Ryan, on the other hand, has the worst customer service I've experienced. I've worked in retail for over 15 years, and I've never spoken to a customer the way he spoke to me. He answered the phone as if I was pestering him, not knowing who I was, and accused me of wanting "a free fence" after we had already paid $3K (which is more than the 50% asked when signing the contract). He then proceeded to not ask for my information, but assume I was a different client and changed his tone once he realized that I was not them. I don't ever expect anything free; I asked to speak with him due to a financial emergency (sewer emergency) that had my funds tied up a week before the installation. We waited 7 weeks for this fence, and we were speaking with him to inform that we could pay part of the remaining payment as a promise to complete the payment a week later due to the unforeseen emergency plumbing. Bottom line, deal with anyone else but this Superior Fence. We had multiple quotes that were cheaper and faster, but the reviews led us to believe this company would be worth it.
