Took all my fur babies here when I moved to the area. Was told me oldest dog needed all her shots; I thought this was strange and had been done before we moved but trusted the vet to not make such a such a suggestion if it weren't true. They fully re-vaccinated my 13 lb dog with every possible vaccine less than one year after she'd received the full set. Mind, I provided records from my previous vet when we switched, which showed an every 3 year vaccine track as has been approved by most vets. And this wasn't her first visit to Poplar. Within about a month, my dog developed an autoimmune disorder. She is now on lifetime immunosuppresants and does suffer because of the negligence of this staff. Don't agree with the three year vaccinations? That's fine, it should have been a discussion. I had other issues with this office, such as not wanting to fill the same number of prescriptions for heartworm/flea meds for my different dogs and being overcharged for puppy services due to not being told of a puppy program until I found it myself. I pulled all my dogs from this practice.

Dr. Amat was very warm, and caring to not only myself, but to my dog as well. He put us both at ease with his easy going demeanor and caring personality towards my dog. We also got some medication for her at this visit!

Dr. Amat is very very knowledgeable, extremely personable and I go out of my way (a 30 minute drive) to take my dog to him. I would not consider going anywhere else, he is hands down, the very best. He is in Concord, NC and I would highly recommend him to others. He really goes above and beyond. I previously had a 12 yr old dog that was dying and I was an emotional wreck… he came in on his day off to accommodate me…. He is just that kind of a vet. I cannot say enough good things about him!

Dr Amat is unlike any other vet you will come across!!! I know he has wonderful reviews all over the place but I felt with the impeccable job and wonderful service he provided us over the last few months, this review is the least I could do for him. Dr Amat is patient, takes all the time he needs with you and will never stop working with you. Answers all questions and even called a few nights late to answer followup questions and to check on Cede. Dr Amat even followed up today after he heard the news of our dog whom passed. He is honest and the best vet I have ever found. There are a few other vets at this office but take the time to ensure you see Dr Amat. You will never regret the decision. Thank you Dr Amat!!!!! Cede you will be deeply missed. We love you so very much.

We've been clients for a few years now, and all of the staff and veterinarians are knowledgable and professional. My animals are always comfortable and feel at ease with Drs Amat and Justus. They take every effort to make appropriate treatment for the lowest cost they can. Simply the best!

They checked my cats tail. It had a bump on it. I liked the doctor very much.

Dr. Munn is a very caring Vet. He has excellent communication skills and we are so happy to have found our new Vet after our move to NC. His staff is grat too. We never had to wait long and they were always ready and responsive with needs and questions. Scout's breath, mouth and teeth are greatly improved. Kudos to Poplar Animal Hospital on a job well done!

The appointment went very well. The vet even cleaned my cats tooth because it had a lot of build up on it, which was not included in the price. I have three cats and have been taking them taking to Poplar Animal Hospital for the past three years. The veterinarians and staff there are all wonderful and very caring. Also, I have found them to be $15 to $20 less expensive than other veterinarians in the Charlotte/Concord, NC area. I am extremely pleased with their service and price and will continue taking my cats there.

My cat had a sore over her right eye. I didn't know how it had gotten there and she scratched the scab off. I'd never been to PAH, but I called on a Saturday morning and they were able to see me within the hour. The staff was professional and friendly, and I felt very at ease with them.

We wanted a new vet so we went and had them checked out. They were a couple of doctors. At this point of time there is nothing I dislike about them at all. Their price is about an average. I would use them again in the future as they are the dog's doc. They were a few advantages to them as they were just three miles away from the house. They do have the ability to have someone look at the dogs on a Saturday if I needed.

The vet at Poplar is great. My animals love him. It is really easy to schedule an appointment there; I can usually get in the same day. He does what I ask and respects my background. He doesn't question me. He is very personable. The office staff has great follow up. I think the pricing is very reasonable. I have no complaints about the practice.
