Paws 'n Claws Pet Sitting Service

Gwyn Propst saved my sanity today.  She has done some pet sitting for me in the past.  Three weeks ago I added a new dog to the pack, a stray from a shelter.  Rhoda had been doing great on the invisible fence but today at mid-morning she had her "mistake moment".  I realized she was gone within about 20 minutes of seeing her last but unfortunately I had to leave for work (or cancel 26 patients!).  I called Gwyn and asked her to come find my dog, who is young and healthy and could have made some serious tracks.  This was a daunting job.  Gwyn dropped whatever she had planned and came over to start the search.  Luckily she found Rhoda waiting patiently in the woods just on the wrong side of the fence line.  She called me and I asked her to take Rhoda to get her microchip today (it was scheduled to happen next week when she got spayed) and once again she said yes immediately and took Rhoda to my vet.  So except for 40  minutes of panic on my part, everything worked out fine.  To readers, Yes of course my dog had a collar and a tag with like 6 phone numbers on it.  I just felt safer getting the chip immediately.  Gwyn was wonderful about everything.  Thank You Gwen!!  PS to readers, Boomerangtags.com makes awesome tags, durable plastic with 5 or 6 lines of writing on both sides of the tag.
