Think twice before hiring these people - Our experience was a NIGHTMARE! We were at our home every morning, at noon, around 2-3pm and again after 5pm and from day 1, there was No Project Manager onsite. We did not see any Quality Control. When we pointed out issues as the work was being done, we were give excuses & blame was directed at the subcontractors and even us at times. *Wallpaper was to be removed and we saw them them plastering over it. *Vents, light switch or outlet covers were not removed. We let Muse know, have documentation they were going to have them removed, after 3 days, we finally removed them ourselves. *Trash including food & drink remnants were left all over my home & my garage (just outside the door to my home) could cause ants/bugs etc to come in. *Billed for additional work. IF there was to be a change order, it should have been sent immediately with the cost so that I could then confirm or deny before the work was done. *Electrician was told that we didn't want outlets in the island. *New counters were left uncovered and stuff was all over them. We had to cover them ourselves. *Flooring started to be installed before cleaning the dust & debris. SEE PICTURE. Thank God we showed up when we did to prevent that from happening. *My hall bath that was previously remodeled was used as a grout mixing stating and left a mess. Several of the marble tiles were damaged. *Marble at my fireplace was damaged. *Scheduling was NEVER accurate. I had to rearrange my appliance and furniture delivery 3 times. *Master bathroom tile and grout look horrible, like a child colored outside the lines. There are gaps at the top of the tile that you can put your hand in, no trim on top. Nothing was cleaned up. `See Picture of inside of vanity. *Every single piece of every thing we own (that was put away) has tons of dust on it. The ServPro guy was shocked and he's seen a lot! Every single piece of everything has to be cleaned. I don't normally post reviews but feel it is necessary in this case because I wouldn't want anyone else to have to go through this. We are on week 14 of a 4 week project and still incomplete. It's really been a heartbreaking experience.

The designs were prompt and fun to review. The staff was very nice to work with!! But went different rout bc original and redesign just didn't capture the spirit of our home and family.

They were fairly responsive, but I haven't heard anything in the last two weeks since I emailed them my photos. To be fair, there was a lapse in communication on my end, but I still never heard anything from them in the long time between communication. They are always very pleasant to deal with when we do communicate.

These folks cannot handle large remodel projects.  They are focused on getting new business and not trying to complete existing projects when they say they will be completed.  They were over six weeks passed the promised completion date.  Their attention to detail is very poor.  Every time I turn around there is something else that has been completed very poorly.  Things are not centered, things are falling apart, they ruined the main beam in our house these are just a few of the things that are wrong in our house.  I could go on for ever. The only positive from this whole experience was the actual design of our remodel.  Unfortunately, the design team and the construction team do not seem to be on the same page. Be very careful on the contractor you choose.  Make sure you get references, see actual completed projects, and make sure they have been doing remodels for more than 2 years.

It was okay. There was very little interaction with them. They did come. That was pretty much it. They didn't come back and go over it. I expected a little more interaction with them as a vendor host in a designer sense. I did not spend more than the "Big Deal." The design work turned out fine. It's not exactly what I wanted and there wasn't an opportunity for me to comment. I've probably asked for a few changes.

They generated a bunch of great computer drawings that have really helped us visualize options for our bathroom.

The service was not useful to me, the picture was basically what I have now and originally sent without measurements and not what I requested.  I contacted the provider with my concerns and they did send measurements and a picture with what I requested after I reminded them... It would have been better if the provider was a company that wast from my area and could provide the work.  I feel they would have been more invested if they were able to complete the work.  Is there a possibility of a refund? 

They did a very good job, they were focused on satisfying the client, and paid attention to a lot of the details of the project.  The owners are a husband and wife team, one is the project manager and one is the designer and they work as a team and provide very good design ideas and then implement those ideas.  Being a historic home in down town Concord, there were a lot of times we have to follow the rules of the historic home and they took care of all that.
Also, when we call for service, they always show up and take care of us.

Muse has been an absolute pleasure to work with.  From the moment Jehremy & Wendy Warner walked into my home to assess the work to be performed, I have been impressed.  They have gone to extraordinary lengths to make sure my home was what I wanted and all the while stayed within budget.  Muse has assembled a great group of people that do quality work.  Their crews are professional, respectful and courteous and seemed to want to make sure I was pleased.   I love everything they have done and can't wait to show off my new home!

Over all things went better than excepted.
