Great, I hope my message can help someone makes the decision to choose Hinson.

One of our neighbors used this service; we watched the work being done and believed that we would obtain similar service from the
provider.  We asked them to come to our house and quote removing a tree, specifically telling them that we did not want the tree ?dropped? but instead cut in sections and lowered (so as not to damage the lawn) and that we wanted the tree removed from premises (it was soft wood that could not be used for firewood) and the stump ground.  Because they had come recommended, we did NOT get in writing exactly what we had asked for and that they had agreed to do - that was totally our fault and our mistake. On the day of service, they asked for and were paid the agreed upon $1000 in cash prior to the service being rendered. They then proceeded to ?drop? the tree in two segments, damaging the yard (creating multiple deep craters) and then demanded an additional $500 to remove the tree and grind the stump, which we refused to pay.  They left us with the yard full of pieces of tree and debris.  My husband, who is in his 70?s and recently had a stroke, is not able to lift/carry heavy items as he used to do; therefore, in addition to the emotional stress of dealing with the attempted extortion, we have had the burden of finding a vendor who will come and complete the work.  I would NEVER recommend working with this service provider.  His total disregard for adhering to a verbally agreed contract and disregard for the health of an elderly not-well client was appalling, to say the very least.

This was an excellent service. They were punctual and polite. Everything was done per our agreement.

A couple of trees fell on our house. Dale came out the day I called to give an estimate. We agreed on a process and he was back within two days to perform the work. They left the yard in great condition.

The guys arrived on time as scheduled. They got out their chainsaws, joked with my kids, climbed the tree and cut the limbs and top off. Then they climbed down and cut the remainder of the tree. It landed right where they said it was going to and it didn't do any damage when it fell. Then they cut it up and placed the wood where we asked them to. Very nice!
