Gary did a good job on my roof in 2015. However, when I got a bad leak that came through my ceiling in my bedroom, he said he would fix it and it was still under warranty but he did not fix it. I sent him text messages and phone calls for nearly a month and he completely ghosted me. I ask him to at least respond so I could get it fixed one way or the other. He never responded at all. Once you pay him his money, he is done. Do not expect him to honor his warranty or his word.

He has been in business for years. He did most of the house when we bought it. We liked what had been done to it. The kitchen and master had been remodeled. They had put in hardwood floors throughout the house and a few other things. I spoke to the neighbors and they told me that Gray's Construction did that. He then did our house. The guys who came out were absolute perfectionist. He was out within three days to fix something for which I called him. He stood behind everything he did. The only problem that I had was that there were a couple of things that he said he would do but he didn't quite finish off. I know that if I called him, he would come out and do them. But I don't like keep reminding people. He was good with everything. I was pleased with his work. His price was really good. He did the garage door frame and utility door for us for about $3000. Everybody else was quoting us like $6000 to $8000. He raised the railing for me and that was included in the price. He did a great job. My husband put down the tile on the floor. He did it incorrectly and Gary explained to him how to do it correctly. It came out nicely. He didn't charge us extra for that or anything. He was fantastic to deal with. He was absolutely the best.

Gary examined the problem of the interior door and examined the walls in the immediate area to see if they were affected also which they weren't. He examined the are underneath the house in the crawl space below the area in question. We discussed options. He felt adjusting the door would do the trick and then just keep an eye on it to see if something more substantial might be necessary in the future. This was honorable and saved me a lot of money. This was the second time I had Gary review this area of the house. Both times, I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and honest and fairly priced. He and his helper did a couple of extra minor things for me inside the house. I will certainly call upon him again for other such issues as the house ages.

Gary was recommended to me by a highly qualified structural engineer who evaluated my problem and wrote a detailed report with instructions for repairs/solutions. I contacted Gary and he soon came by to see the issue. He also received a copy of the engineer's report and we set a date for Garyand his crew to do the work; he sent me an an estimate for time and materials. He showed up on time; he and all his crew and the painters he brought with him were all polite and accommodating to little extra things and they obviously knew what they were doing as one could tell by just observing. The job went well. The price was reasonable. I plan to hire him again for future things I need from time to time around my house and am contemplating choosing him for a partial remodel of a bathroom which I have postponed for a long time because I couldn't find someone I thought was reasonably priced even though others have quoted the job.

As with anything he has ever done for us, it was great. We have an older home and had some re-grading done to the property to eliminate rainwater that went under the house. We began seeing signs of moisture inside and could not figure out how to stop it. After Gary inspected the house, showed us accumulative things that would cause these type of problems. He informed us upfront with what the issues were and what we would need to do to fix them. Gary is very knowledgable in every aspect of building which makes us comfortable with his recommendations. Now there is no evidence of moisture and the work underneath...well let's just say all the interior doors will close properly and the sheetrock stopped showing stress cracks. We're very happy:)
