HORRIBLE! My home was damaged by Hurricane Florence 2018. I am a single, senior, female. Roof installed in March 2020.( I have to look up to get exact date) It has been a nightmare. The dormers were damaged and they were not supposed to be touch there was nothing wrong with them. Owner wants to blame me. I did not hire the crew to remove the metal and install the new one. They did. Their installer subcontractor admitted the mistake. He said he didn't want to "snitch". Elevate Roofing even apologized for their mistake but won't fix it. I had asked for their Certificate of Insurance prior to signing the contract and after it was signed. I was assured I would get it. To date I have not received it and now they refuse to give it to me. I also have a 5 yr workmanship warranty. The chimney flashing was improperly installed and it leaked after the first storm. They had fired the first installer crew and hired someone else to finish. Elevate Roofing asked for the sill (Picture)that was removed to have it milled. It's supposedly ready to install. They even scheduled 3 appointments to install and never showed up nor call to say they wouldn't be there. Their excuses something came up, the dog died. Now they don't know where the original one is nor the new milled ones. Won't disclose where they had them milled. Come measure, that's simple. I've been called a looney tune, a piece of ****, that I was under my house with my 11 cats making plans(I don't have cats) Said my house should be condemned. All of this on Facebook. They said the subcontractors stole from me. WHAT??!!. He kept the money due the subcontractor said he would fix if the sub didn't. Elevate still has not fixed. Sub called and said he would put a lien on my house. Subcontractors may be the ones that made the mistake but Elevate hired them and it's their responsibility to make sure it is fixed.
