Tyler was very professional and prompt in response. The cost of work was very reasonable and work was high quality. He mitigated traces of mold on my wooden joists, installed a vapor barrier and hung insulation throughout my crawl space that is still performing to this day. I would recommend Done Right for all crawl space and subfloor work for any interested in receiving the highest quality craftsmanship.

The problem was erosion in backyard. The problem was not fixed. Because I told the contractor that he was unethical, he blocked all of my calls and refused to honor the 15 year warranty. His staff was very courteous and respectful. He was paid over 4K. I have tried to call for months. His refusal to come back and make changes to the system that he installed and it failed to direct the water. This demonstrates his moral ethics

First issue is they did not get a permit as required. I asked them about inspection so after arguing with me that they did not need one they called the building inspector who told them a permit was required for the type of work they were doing. So they got a permit after the work was done and failed the inspection with the inspector sighting 9 points of failure. They resisted when I asked them about a contract, and once they stated they were finished with the work I realized they did not repair the foundation as I was told they would but instead put the new banding (outer perimeter of wood for the floor) on top of a broken and cracked brick foundation. They replaced the banding and girders under the house along with several floor joists. Part of their repair included attaching floor joists to a rotten piece of wood that was the existing banding that had also shifted so that less than half of it was supported by the foundation. During their inspection for the estimate I was very clear that the foundation repair was my biggest concern and I was assured they would stich the bricks back together making the foundation structurally sound again. Upon completion of the work they had simply put some mortar into one of the three cracks and said they did that for free and that was not part of the job they agreed to. Again, they were willing to install structural elements upon a seriously damaged foundation. The whole reason I called them was their claim to be crawlspace and structural repair experts. If I was going to leave the foundation (crawlspace) as-is I would have contracted a carpenter, not a crawlspace expert. Another issue was that the originally the subfloor was under all the walls. They installed the new subfloor ALMOST to the walls, but not quite. Leaving holes large enough for rodents to easily enter the house, leaving the rotten original subflooring under some parts of the walls and removing it from others. The flooring they repaired in the first room entering the house is unlevel and not straight. The outer band at the rear of the house in extremely bowed and this is the part of the structure that supports the area outside wall, making it also bowed. After the inspection Tyler contacted me and stated he would refund my deposit however if he was going to do that he was going to remove everything they had done (the house would have collapsed had he done so) They also left all the electrical wiring hanging and unsupported. When I asked him about running the subfloor under the walls he stated it could not be done. I have extensive experience with this type of work, which I also made very clear to them prior to them agreeing to perform the repairs. I know how to lift the walls to insert the subfloor underneath so I know that the issue was lack of knowledge, which was made even more evident by the failure of the inspection.

Tyler contact us immediately, gave us an estimate and set a day to execute the job. He and his crew were professional and easy to communicate with. He understood the work we needed to have done and gave us a fair price. When the job was complete, they cleaned up everything. We are pleased with the work they did and would recommend them.
