Marvelous! Eric did a terrific job changing two vanity faucets. I am changing all the fixtures in the master bathroom. I bought the fixtures, because they are hard to find at a reasonable price, and before we set up an appointment, David came by to be sure they would work. No charge. David's now looking for trim kits that will work for the shower and Roman tub. Top notch service!

The owner performed work in the kitchen last July. The price seemed high at that point, but he responded quickly. I purchased the faucet myself. He had to return after the initial work to correct a minor problem. I decided to give them a try in Jan 2014, assuming the installation of a bathroom sink would be less expensive (less complicated - no connection to a sprayer hose required). In fact, I actually installed the faucet into the sink. The plumber (the owner's co-worker) merely needed to connect the water lines and adjust the drain trap. The guy was only there 30 minutes and I got charged $5 more than the charge in July! For 'less' work! I left a message with the owner and left a voice mail about my concern that the price was inordinate and not proportional to the work. He promptly called me (over and over!) but was never able to reach me. When we were finally able to talk, the owner volunteered to refund (only) $5. Since he completely missed the point, I told him I'll pay the whole bill, but I would reflect my experience on Angie's List. And here it is...

Excellent service, great price. Our water heater was leaking, and we called Cranford’s for help. Mr. Cranford asked a few questions then gave us a quote over the phone, and was able to send a technician out within 2 hours to replace it the same day. The technician was very polite, and got right to work. He was efficient, knowledgeable, and I was impressed with the high quality workmanship. The water heater was a well-known name brand (I didn’t ask about it ahead of time, but glad to see he brought a high quality unit). Pricing was very reasonable. I would definitely call them again.
