Charlie is nothing but a crook. He will steal your money and not honor his warranties. Do not take your vehicles to get fixed at this place. He will keep your vehicle and never fix it. He is a liar and a likes to cuss at women. He never answers his phone and when he does he will scream and yell at you and hang up on you. Charlie’s Auto Repair is bad business and needs to be shut down!

They have been our auto mechanic for years. We wouldn't use anyone else. They are a family owned business, honest, kind, upfront and just wonderful people.

The work was superior in every way and approximately 20 percent of dealer quote. The vehicle drove better than at any time in the past 5 years and his work is above reproach. Charlies is always my first choice.

The manager was fast and friendly. He didn't try to tell me there was additional (unnecessary) work needed on my car. The hours were great.

He was very helpful, able to use a rebuilt one. He took the car in immediately and completed the job in less than 1/2 a day. Cost was reasonable and fair. Everything so far is good. He also worked on a van from my husband's work. Again, cost was very reasonable and he was able to complete that work in a timely manner.

Despite two trips to the dealership service department and costly service on other parts, the problem for which I took it in remained un-fixed. On the second trip there, I even suggested that they investigate to see if the struts were the problem. They wouldn't even drive my car to see what I was describing as the difficulty. So when I took my car to Charlie's, I described the situation and he said he couldn't tell me anything until they drove my car to see what was happening. Charlie called me back within an hour with a report on the test drive, a proposal for the repairs and a price and time frame.
Although it took a little longer than I had planned to get the work done, that was a matter of having to obtain the specific parts for my car model. The service itself was quick and well done. The price was competitive with the dealership, the personal approach to the customer was great, and it gave me satisfaction to keep my business close to home. I have found a new shop for all my automotive work from now on.

He charges a little more for his service than I would like, however I always know that when the service is done I won't have to go back. I like knowing that when I being my vehicles in to Charlie's they are going to do the work right. They are always willing to answer my questions and take the time to explain things to me.

Our truck was not shifting well, sounded and felt like it was not transferring power to the wheels. They checked the fluid. THere was too much of it and it was old and sludgy. They changed the fluid an advised us that that might help, but S-10s are bad for transmission failures and that we might not see a full recovery. Our truck is still not shifting quite right, but better than before. Overall, we got what we needed. A diagnosis and service to keep us limping along till I am no lolnger unemployed.

He charges top dollar, but he does the job. He's the kind of guy that if you know him, when you take your car there you give him a limit on what you spend and he'll do it. He doesn't waste time calling up saying this needs to be done. I told him directly, you're not the cheapest but you're the one I can depend on.

THEY HAVE ALWAYS HAD MY CAR READY QUICKLY, AND THE ONE TIME IT TOOK LONGER THAN NORMAL FOR MY OIL CHANGE, THEY TOOK $10 OFF THE PRICE AND APOLOGIZED (WITHOUT ME ASKING!) VERY NICE GUYS. THEY ARE NICE, HONEST PEOPLE WHO WON'T TRY TO TALK YOU INTO FIXING THINGS THAT ARE NOT BROKEN. I TRUST THEM WITH MY CAR AND MY MONEY. I WILL NOT PAY THE VW DEALERS IN AND AROUND CHARLOTTE, I DON'T TRUST THEM WITH EITHER MY CAR OR MY MONEY!
