Around Town Paving

I am satisfied with a greater majority of the work. Mr. Broadway returned once to check my complaint about lack of compaction and some drainage concerns. I questioned him about the thickness of the asphalt, and he assured me that the job was up to specs. In a few weeks I began to see pieces of asphalt falling away due to improper compaction and/or thin application. Several areas would not drain water, especially around AC condensing unit. Much of the new asphalt adjoining the foundation area of the house is shedding stone due to improper compaction. I contacted Mr. Broadway on numerous occasions to get him out to look at the problems. He never showed up at the planned times, and eventually stopped returning my calls. I made no attempt to contact him over the winter. I resumed efforts to make contact in May, calling about once a week, and as of 5/28/2014 Mr. Broadway has not returned any calls this spring.
