This water-damage nightmare turned out just fine. We were being quoted well over $3,000 just to start the reconstruction--to take out cabinets, cut into walls and tile, set up a containment zone, etc. and were told it would take 2-3 weeks. Then Tom Wright came over and suggested tackling the problem from the outside. As a result, he was able to remove nichiha siding (not break off and replace as some others quoted), pull out the bad wood, and fix everything up with no damage or disruption to the inside of the house. And it only took 2 days! I can't believe how much easier this was on us than we thought it was going to be. We'll have Mr. Wright and his crew back to do more work in the future.
