Showed up on time, but did not lay the trees down as I wanted them to be laid down. Expensive. Had wanted to trade work on owners home in lieu of partial payment, but after I made a trip out to their home to give them an estimate, did not give me the work, instead did the work themselves. Seems the wife is making business decisions. Tried to bill me for more than what Lloyd had told me, but made it right with me.

If Southern Tree Care isnt your primary source for tree removal... they should be. Best in Class service, response, friendlines, professional, punctual...and the list goes on. Loyd and Melissa run a top notch operation. They have a seasoned crew who are always a pleasure to work with. Both Loyd and Daniel (Foreman) are a pleasure to work with. They know trees! They are my "go to" for all tree service needs....

After having left voice mail for another company and waiting a week for a response, I called Southern Tree Care. Lloyd Anderson called me back within the hour and came the same day to investigate the problem with my trees.
On the day they came to treat the trees, Mr. Anderson and his crew did a very professional job. I was also impressed by how polite they were. Melissa Anderson is a very efficient office manager--extremely responsive.
I highly recommend this company for tree service.

I highly recommend this company. They were willing to come out on a Saturday to get the job done early, and without surcharge. We had a team of 4 plus the foreman to fell about 20 trees to prepare for construction. Some had to be climbed, but they were careful not to spike the oaks that were just having limbs cut. These, they climbed without spikes. They arrived on time, were very polite and pleasant. We had a little 'oops' that occurred and they handled it with professionalism and in the end, it all turned out well. Accidents happen, but it is how you handle them that counts. They even moved my patio furniture to prevent damage, then replaced it when done. While I did not hire them to cut up the trees and remove from property, they offered and did clear up the ones that blocked the drive way as well as an outdoor patio area. This company carries the proper insurance and follows strict OSHA guidelines, be sure to check when you get quotes from other companies. They appear very safe with helmet, face protection and chaps. It was a pleasure to meet them and have them perform work. You won't go wrong.

I have used them for several years, somewhere between 5 to 10 years. They are very professional, come when they say they are going to, clean up really well and don't leave a mess when they are done, and they do the job efficiently and aren't hanging around your house for forever.

During the estimate, Lloyd went over their procedures in detail to include no spikes on live trees and the use of heavy equipment to do the jobs quickly and efficiently. True, their quote was a bit higher than others however the care they give to the live trees and to the property was definitely worth it.
Lloyd works with his crew. He consistently checked with me to assure my satisfaction and to check if additional service was required.
The results of two separate services were excellent--pleasent, fast, efficient and clean.

We have been using them for 14 years. They have dealt with some limbs and done systemic injections. When I had an issue with a tree ready to fall on our house, they were there the next day. They are very kind. His wife works in the office. They understand their customers. They clean up very well. You don't even know they are here.

I would give them all A's. I would use them again.
