Absolute Tree Experts

We were more than satisfied with Absolute Tree Experts. Oliver gave us a thorough estimate of all the trimming that needed to be done on our many trees and let us know he would be happy to do as much or as little as we wanted. His crew came out on time, shaped our trees nicely, and cleaned up so well our yard was in better shape than before they arrived.

Oliver responded promptly to a voicemail and went to my house while I was at work to inspect the tree and provide an estimate. He left a written estimate in my mailbox and provided a call back. Oliver and his crew were back out a few days later to remove the tree and all remnants, with the exception of the stump. They worked at a furious and efficient pace. The tree disappeared in about 15 minutes. Oliver spoke to my wife about a few other trees in the yard and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future. It was a great experience overall.

This was the best experience I have ever had with a tree company and I have used several. Oliver was very professional and easy to work with. He and his crew arrived on time and cleaned up beautifully. The trees that were removed were very close our house and a smaller Japanese maple tree and the work was done carefully so nothing was damaged. To top it all off, Absolute Tree's rates are very reasonable. They ended up doing work 3 of the neighbors on our cul de sac and all of us were happy with the work.

Our experience was wonderful. Oliver responded to my phone call quickly. He took time to walk around our yard and look at everything we needed to have done to our trees. The day he came out I was not at home. Except for how god our trees looked I could not tell he had been to our house. Everything had been cleaned up!! oliver did everything he promised!!

He was prompt, professional, and had in-depth knowledge regarding the tree business. I liked that he was thorough in going through both yards with me to ensure he had a good idea of what services I wanted. I was so pleased with his price for the amount of work he and his crew did. I will use again for future tree work.

I called and left a message with Oliver Fanning on Monday, He left me a message that he would call back. He called back on Thursday came Saturday for estimate, was able to fit us in 3 days later on Tuesday! Oliver Fanning and his crew came on time and did what we had agreed on. They were professional and cleaned up all debris. Oliver is very knowledgeable, professional, and has great prices for the hard and dangerous work they do! I would not hesitate to call them in the future and highly recommend to any one that wants some flexibility in how the job will be tackled. Meaning, Oliver is easy to work with when explaining what we wanted to accomplish. He has good ideas and listens to what we were hoping to achieve in the final look of the trees needing pruning. Oliver stated it would take about 3-3.5hours and this is exactly the time frame it took. Good communication. Angie's List discount added too! How great it that?! $855 was final cost after AL discount.

Oliver and his crew were very friendly and proficient at what they do. They showed up exactly on time, cleaned up the debris to perfection and even threw in a couple of freebies. While they were here, my neighbor hired them to do some work for her also. I was so impressed by the quality and price, that Absolute Tree Experts are now my preferred tree service (and I have used several, both big and small companies).

Went quickly (Oliver came with two other good folks) and easily. I forgot to have him cut a couple of miscellaneous things - I'm kicking myself now. They were so fast and easy to work with, I just forgot :-). I had bought the Angie's List Big Deal.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal, and am embarressed to say, I waited until 1 day before it expired to call for an appt. They didn't seem to be the least bit irritated with me & my procrastination. We scheduled an appt. for them to come out & look at the work I had in mind, arrived exactly when he said he would, gave me an estimate that was a little higher then the big deal I had purchased, came back about a week and a half later to perform the work, and told me I didn't owe them a thing! I can't wait to see the blooms those trees will have in the spring, since they finally got a good/professional shaping! I can't say enough good things about Absolute Tree Service! They were fantastic from start to finish, and I wouldn't have known about them had it not been for Angie's Big Deal.......

I liked their professionalism. They were very professional and prompt. They provided extra service which I didn’t pay for. They were reliable. They came when they said they were going to. They did what they were going to do. I would use them in the future.

Very well. This business was just hard to reach in the busy fall season, and especially after taking part in an "Angie's List Big Deal" promotion.

During the estimate, I specifically asked if we needed to mark off our underground irrigation system. "Sandy" replied, "No, the sprinkler heads are usually around the perimeter of the yard, so that won't be a problem." While taking down our large pine tree, an underground pipe to our sprinkler system was damaged. Once we saw flooding in our front yard near the site of the former pine tree, we assumed the tree service would have the damaged pipe repaired. We were told that type of damage is not the company's responsibility. At the time the pine tree was cut down, my husband was facing back surgery and could not do any type of lifting or bending. The tree service left a huge pile of sawdust in our yard which I had to shovel up into four large trash cans. My son-in-law just recently came over and finished the job. We had to call on family members to help repair the burst irrigation system pipe. I can't believe we were left with the repair and the clean-up. After the tree was cut down, I received a phone call from "Sandy" stating that the tree service had "left a mess in my driveway, and that, if I wanted them to clean it up, they would come by later in the week." When I returned home from work that day, I didn't see a mess in our driveway, so I assumed the company was done with our job. The only compensation we received for the damaged pipe was a price adjustment of between $50.00-$100.00 for the stump grinding (for which we were not billed). Not a good experience. I never expected, as a sixty-year-old customer, to have to shovel up a huge pile of sawdust and drag the cans to curbside after paying a tree company to cut down a large tree in my yard.

This is the 3rd time we've used Oliver and Absolute Tree. As always, they did a fantastic job. They are always prompt, reasonably priced, and the work is done as expected.

I contacted Absolute tree service via an email request from Angie's list on a Friday afternoon probably after 4:45 and received a phone call from the owner Oliver with 10 minutes after my request was sent. That was the fastest response I have ever had with any contractor even the ones on Angie's list! We made an appointment for the quote that following Tuesday morning. He arrived on time and walked the entire property with me looking at the trees that were in question. He was very personable and explained his business philosophy along the way. He provided a written quote and advised a waiting period to allow the ground to dry out a bit since it was following a number of days of rain. I did have a comparative quote done and Oliver was by far the most reasonable. We set a day for the project to be done. He and his crew arrived promptly at 8 am and started removing large trees and elevating other trees to improve our view from the back yard. I had an area of overgrown brush (that is putting it lightly-it was more like the amazon jungle!) that really needed to be cleared out badly. Oliver checked to see if the area could be cleared using heavy equipment versus painstaking hand cutting which would be a ton in labor. He cleared out over half of the brush before even proposing a price for the job! His quote for that area saved me a ton of dollars in labor cost. He is truly a godsend and I appreciate everything that he and his crew did to completely transform our yard. He even made recommendations to help keep the jungle from returning. Absolute tree service is the only tree removal service I will be calling or recommending in the future! Keep up the great work Oliver!

Great job. Came in an cut both trees done in a short time and came back to do the stump later. Have given their name to other friends since I thought they did a great job.

Very good. Contact Oliver and he came out about 3 weeks later as we were on vacation for two weeks. Took out the tree's. Took a bit longer go get the stumps ground out. Very happy - would definitely use again.

I purchased a deal through Angie's List for $300 worth of tree trimming with Absolute Tree Experts. Oliver came to my house to look at a Bradford Pear that needed trimming. He was extremely knowledgable and helpful. One of his crew members came out at a later date to do the work. They did exactly what I was hoping for and cleaned up everything that they had cut down. In fact, if it wasn't for the fact that my tree was trimmed and looks great, I would have never known they had been at my house. It took a couple of weeks to get the work done, but I didn't mind since it wasn't an immediate need. I would highly recommend this business and will use them again in the future.

I had a bad experience with them. I purchased the big deal. I went to their online site and sent them a message, but I didn’t hear anything even after a week. So, I called the gentleman and he said that they were a little backed up for two days. He asked me to call him back on his cell phone and asked me to leave my contact information so that he could get back to me within two days. I did that, but I never heard anything. I thought of giving them another week since they were backed up. Last Thursday, we had a storm come through that took out some trees and caused damage. When I first tried to call them, I didn’t get anybody. Then I found somebody else and contacted them. The other company took care of everything. So, I didn't need the services of the big deal. It was the lack of responsiveness by Absolute Tree Experts. They probably do fantastic work and they probably are overwhelmed with a lot of business, but I really needed them to follow up with me. They didn’t keep their word. I don’t know what the circumstances were, but it wasn’t positive and I could have avoided a lot of damage to my house if they had responded. I wouldn’t contact them again.

Oliver came over and gave me a estimate that was more than fair. He visited during the work that was being accomplished to make sure everything was going good. There was one minor item of confusing and Oliver bent over backwards to accommodate my request. They damaged my neighbors sprinkler but they replaced that at no extra charge. I paid them more for the extra work they ended up doing. I would nominate them for superior service!! They were great guys.

I had purchased a discount coupon through Angie's List for Absolute Tree Experts. Oliver Fanning was prompt with his response to my call and helpful in determining what trees needed limb removal. On the day of service, Sandy Werts and his crew of three men arrived early and got right to work. They were here approximately five hours and never stopped working despite the heat. They did a neat and professional job of removing the limbs in question. They also cleaned up the yard and you would never know that they had been here. My experience was very positive and I would definitely use them again.

They gave a quote within days of asking & scheduled the work within one week. Work was done extremely well while I was not there & they left no mess. Great work. ALs Big Deal Coupons were a big saver!

Oliver and team arrived early and finished before I returned from work. All agreed work was completed and the debris removed very completely. He did a follow up call and visit to make sure there were no questions or concerns. will definitely use in the future. Lots of complaments from neighbors.

I believe this is terrible customer service. They have been very unresponsive.
