There was a delay on getting an appointment scheduled. We did have a huge wind storm so I knew he was in high demand. I did not get a appointment until several weeks later. Once we did have a date scheduled, everything went accordingly and he stuck to his original price. The crew was very professional and there was a lot of communication between them.

Excellent company. Immediately followed up my phone request for a quote and came out to the house the same day and provided quote on the spot. Scheduled service per my request within a couple of days. Date of service showed up at time promised and performed work quickly and professionally as quoted. Clean up was perfect. I would highly recommend this company to everyone!

Tree removal and stump grinding...the team cut/removed a total of four trees and the sub-contractor that came to grind a stump were very professional and provided good service.

Sandy and the crew were on time and courteous. A large birch tree was trimmed(climbing required). When they were finished, a blower was used to clean our driveway and small braches were raked up. Also, their estimate was significantly less than another highly ranked tree service.

Trimmed & fertilized two large trees in my front yard. Also treated for carpenter ants. The work was completed over the course of two separate days (different departments within the company). The trimming took the most time but the crew was on time and worked consistently all day. They cleaned up everything and my trees look great!

They did a good job, efficient, clean, and did the work that was needed.

Provider is highly rated on Angie's List. Called for an estimate. Oliver called me back with in two days and advised me they don't serve Huntersville. Their company website and Angie's List clearly lists my town in the Lake Norman area. Suggest provider update their website to reflect their proper servicing area. How could you not know what is on your own website for advertising?

Oliver and team provided top-notch service from an initial quote to the actual tree removals and related communications. We had two very large, mature trees in bad shape due to the rains this summer that the team removed without so much a bending a leaf on surrounding greenery - super job - and the ongoing communications regarding timing/ delays due to the rains was much appreciated.

They were very professional and the quality was excellent.

Oliver was great to work with. This was the first time that I've had tree work done and he was extremely courteous as well as prompt. He showed up on the day of the work with his crew and they completed the job quickly and exactly as promised.

Oliver and his crew did a wonderful job! I will recommend them to all of my family and friends in the area. We had several trees that needed to come down for different reasons. One was so big and too close to the house and the roots were headed toward our foundation. Another had been damaged in a storm and was dying in the middle and was no longer stable. Oliver took the time to explain to me which trees were priority and which ones could come down later. He handed me a quote right there on the spot and the price only changed slightly when we had to add another tree to the order due to the roots went through a water line. He was also very responsive when we had to reschedule days to do the work several times and when we were finally ready to have the trees down they were very quick and in and out within a few hours. He was super nice, super responsive and we will use him in the future when we can have more trees cut down!

I purchased this deal in 2011. I got in touch with the provider and he did come out and give me an estimate. He was professional and courteous. When I called him to set up the date to have the work completed he indicated that his calendar was full, and not to worry about the expiration date, that he would honor it later. I realize that I should have called to follow up sooner, but I had misplaced the certificate and didn't recall the name of the company. When I called to see if he would honor it, he declined, despite my attempt to refresh his memory. He did offer a 10% discount that he offers new customers, but I declined. I won't give him an F because I take responsibility for not being more aggressive and following up earlier..disappointed though. I had not intended to give a review, but was advised to submit a request for refund when I called the service desk to discuss an unrelated issue. This review was required as a part of that request.

Feedback and response from Sandy, who did the estimate, was excellent. All questions I had were answered quickly. Trees were removed and stumps ground flat - one was unable to be ground flat as it was too close to the house/air conditioner. I appreciated that this was called out on the new invoice and that the cost of that stump was removed from the total. Didn't notice a mess around where they did their work which was also pleasant - I avoided working on my lawn as I expected there to be incidental damage but I guess it wasn't necessary. For future tree needs of this nature, would definitely use Absolute Tree Experts again.

Called Absolute Tree Experts on Oct. 1 for an estimate to remove 2 large trees and another that had previously fallen in our backyard. Left a message on voicemail and my call was returned the next day. Oliver came out within an hour to give an estimate. Since we planned on aerating our lawn on the weekend it was important for us to have the job done ASAP. The estimate was reasonable and we decided to move forward with removing the larger of the two trees and the one that was on the ground. Much to our surprise, Oliver agreed to do the job the very next day. He arrived with his crew promptly at 8:15 in the morning, as scheduled and had the trees removed and the area cleaned in less than two hours. I can't say enough about how friendly and professional they all were. We were very happy about our decision to use Absolute Tree Experts and plan on calling them again in the spring to do some pruning work around the yard.

Everything went great and the crew did a wonderful job! Oliver was very responsive to my phone call and provided a quote quickly. Once we agreed to do the work, we were able to schedule the work in about 1 week. They arrived on time and worked quickly. All the crew members I interacted with were friendly and professional. They answered some questions I had about tree care. The crew cleaned up nicely once the trimming was complete and checked with me to make sure I was happy with the trimming before leaving. I also got a follow up call from Oliver to make sure everything was to my liking, and I assured him that it was. I would use this company again for any tree service.

I continue to be impressed by Absolute Tree Service. This is the third time we've used them in the past 6 months since we have been performing work in stages. I was pleasantly surprised when they honored an estimate from May for work performed in September. The team is fast, courteous and good. Another company was performing work at our house at the same time and even commented on how impressed they were with them!

Sandy came later in evening due to busy schedule. I appreciated him coming so far out of his way. He walked the property and was very informative about what happens to trees when builders remove some but not all. I am new to the area and have never lived in such a wooded area. I had approx. 5 - 6 trees that concerned me. Right now I am considering different bids. but would not hesitate to use these guys. Very professional, honest and easy to work with.

Decent. This was the second time we used a tree service via a "Big Deal". In both cases the provider charged us additionally for services needed; it would be helpful to know going in how much time/work we are buying with one of these deals.

They were very responsive. They trimmed the trees and did a good job of cleanup.

It was hard to set up a time for service however once they came out service was excellent.

We purchased a big deal for the service. It was a small tree, and I purchased the big deal without reading the fine print, and the guy came over and gave me a quote for 300 dollars. I looked at the ad again a couple of weeks later, and the fine print said that it was 300 Dollars worth for 149, and the fine print said, you had to have had an estimate of 800 or more and the 300 would have been minused from there. He called me right away and apologized, and Angie's gave me a refund. I would use him because of his honesty. I did tell him that I would use him in the future, to grind a tree for me. He was very forthright, he came out and gave me an estimate, and I thought that was great. The owner was very responsive. He called me the next day after I bought the deal, and explained it to me, because he remembered my situation, and I really appreciated that.

Very smooth operations. Showed up on time. Finished the job promptly. Cleaned up work area very well.

They gave me a quote on July 31st. They did a good job.

Oliver Fanning was fantastic! I was very impressed with how quickly he responded to my call's, and his excellent prices! The work was done very well, and he has a great crew of hard workers. They were so careful removing a very large tree hanging over our roof, and did a great job! Oliver also hung a tree swing for our girls : ) We now have him back for more work!
