Our crawlspace was encapsulated in June and almost immediately had issues with leaking. They had to come back twice to fix the leaks in the hatch and fix the substandard job that was done in terminating the condensate pump drain. In addition, we have had more leaks in the past several months that were addressed by them resealing. The most recent time they came out to fix a leak, the service technician did not actually fix anything, but rather told us we needed a sump pump and left it at that. About three months in, a horrid smell developed in the house from the crawlspace. At first, the team lead came in and said it was the worst crawlspace he'd ever smelled and suggested it was due to rats. That same day we had Terminex come out, and they ended up getting on the phone with the service manager to tell her there was no possible way it was rats. Her solution? Try a dehumidifier. Unsurprisingly, in the winter, when stack effect is most prominent, it did not address the issue (the provided dehumidifier with charcoal filter does not run when humidity levels are low)./'][ From doing my own research, it seems that this is soil gasses which can be fixed with a mitigation system/ventilation system and a sump pump. We would be happy to work with the service manager to move forward with some of the options, but she has proven to be unwilling to work with us because "we have already given them a free dehumidifier," as relayed by the service technician when he was on site. Other issues have included: rim joists unsealed and uninsulated, mold being "treated" but left hanging on the joists and not cleaned off, and electrical and plumbing points left unsealed which contributed to the smell during the cold weather due to stack effect. Over the last few months when contacting the service manager, she has grown increasingly shorter in her temperament with us or ignores communication altogether. This company does not care that we are still experiencing problems with the encapsulation system. At this point, we are completely at a loss for how to continue as this has dragged on for months. Based on responses we have received from them and the length of time it takes for them to come onsite we have lost confidence in their ability to resolve our issues. To anyone considering using them for an encapsulation, we would recommend using a different company.

Thank you to Rayford and his team for the great work done to encapsulate our crawl space. Work was exceptional and very happy with the results compared to what the pest companies do. During the work my HVAC return duct was accidentally ripped (like due to age and the poor shape of the crawl space). Things like this happen, but the whole team at Southeast took ownership and fixed the issue. That's what good customer service is all about!

Jess and her team did an exceptional job in raising the concrete deck slab at our house. The prep and comms were outstanding as was the work. They ran into some trouble on the lower deck due to poor installation from the prior contractor years ago and immediately called it out for discussion and resolution. We decided together to cancel that section and they immediately adjust the price of the job very favorably. Highly recommend!

The customer service the workers provided for us was amazing. From the start when Travis came out to give us our estimate to the project week the experience was phenomenal. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the results. We had some floor joist sistered and replaced and had our floors jacked back into place. We also had a full encapsulation done to our crawlspace. Josh and his team are amazing and would definitely recommend for any work that needs to be done with your crawl space.

I would not recommend this company. We paid $14K for our 1,400 sq ft home’s crawl space to be dug out and encapsulated. - The crew hit an our homes main water line and our family and animals were without water for 27 hours. - We paid $2K for the crew to dig out our crawl space to ensure two feet of headspace and they did not. - They did not properly seal the crawl space opening and left gallons of standing water behind. - They did not position the dehumidifier correctly and instead placed it in the crawl space entrance so we cannot enter it. We contacted our salesperson to ask when these issues would fixed only for him to tell us he was laid off. We have left voicemails with their office but have not heard anything back.

We had a section of concrete slab in our walkway that had settled about 4 inches where it met the stairs to our front door. This was very visible and also caused water to puddle at that location. We were planning to stain and seal the walkway and driveway, but this situation had to be corrected before we could do that. This was a small project relative to what contractors who do this specialized work generally do.

Southeast Foundation Repair was one of three bids we got for the project. Their initial bid actually matched the highest bid we'd received at the point. They said, however, that if I could wait until Nov 16, they had another larger job in my area and they could "tag this on in the afternoon" and avoid some of the normal costs associated with travel to the job site and set up. This resulted in a substantial savings.

They called me a few days before the scheduled date to reconfirm. They called again on the day of service to let me know when they would be arriving. They got here when they said they would and quickly got things set up and performed the work.

The raising and leveling of the concrete slab was done nicely and you cannot tell where the "settling" had been and they made sure that water would now drain away from the stairs. It looks great... and I subsequently had the concrete stained and sealed and you would never know there had been a problem.

Southeast Foundation Repairs did and excellent job and I would recommend them to others without hesitation.

Excellent service!   Southeast Foundation Repair lifted sections of our concrete and filled voids with the PolyLevel (polyurethane foam) system.
Their communication was excellent, the warranty awesome, and the work professional and accomplished what needed to be done!

The company installed a dehumidifier in the crawl space and closed off all vents to correct and keep in check moisture under the house._x000D_|_x000D_|Also, they were to dig trenches in front of the house to divert water from the house but did not do that part because the "front guy" did not figure the drainage plan correctly. This person and the company were notified of this and it was to be re-designed and completed at a later date. As of November 4, 2013 we have not received a call to schedule this part of the original contract dated 08-26-13.

A Free Estimate was provided. Although the initial quote was a bit high they did come down on the price to what I thought was a fair price. Due to their volume of work, I was scheduled for service about 3 weeks out. The gentlemen who provided the work showed up and explained the process. They were professional and cleaned up before leaving each day. The job took 2 days to complete. The first day they dug the holes and poured the concrete for the jack foundations. The next day they installed the jacks. They provided us with an explanation of the work performed and told us that they would make annual inspections of the work performed. We were provided a 25 year warranty on the work performed by mail approximately 3 days later. So far we are very happy with the results. Our floors are no longer sagging and most of the creaks have been removed. I would recommend and use Southeastern Foundation Repair again.

Our basement has been flooding during the rain storms. We read the reviews on Angie's List and were initially very impressed with Southeast Foundation Repair. Glenn came out and took a look at our basement to determine what needed to be done in order to rectify the flooding problem. He recommended that we install a french drain and sump pump and that we should treat our basement walls with Cactus Juice in order to seal the cracks and prevent water seepage.  Southeast Foundation Repair was quick to start the job. The telephone operators were very pleasant and the workers were very professional (going as far as renting a Jack Hammer from a local hardware store in order to complete the job).  They did a great job cleaning up and left little evidence behind to indicate the extensive digging that occurred.
Unfortunately, our basement flooded within a week of the job being completed. When we called Southeast Foundation Repair they were quick to respond and sent out a representative to have another look at our flood problems. They had failed to tell us during the initial installation that the pump was not plugged in and that we needed to have an electrician install an outlet near the system.  In regards to the flooding in the basement, he noted immediately that Cactus Juice would not solve the issue and we needed another estimate for a different type of treatment.  Upon leaving, he said he would get back to us with the estimate.  After several weeks and several calls to the company, we are still having the same flooding issues with no response back from the company.
We were hoping to get this issue resolved quickly, but have been incredibly disappointed by Southeast Foundations' lack of response to the incomplete job.  If the Cactus Juice was not the obvious treatment for the basement, as it seems this secondary treatment was, then we would have preferred to do the job right the first time so we wouldn't have to pay more for an already expensive project.

We used Southeast foundation to encapsulate the crawl space of our house.  We can not say enough good things about George (foreman) and Chris (owner), as well as all them team of people who worked on our house.  The crawl space looks fantastic!  Neat, clean and no more humid air.  Having them do this and install the foundation insulation will save us on our utility bills and the best part is there is a tax credit for installing this.  We recommend anyone considering fixing the humidity issues in a crawl space to contact them.  You will not be disappointed.

The estimator gave me a price, outlined the work and I agreed to the contract price. The team showed up exactly on time. I was impressed. They were very professional, thorough and took into account my specific desires.
One thing this company does well is to send you eductional material in advance of your meeting with the estimator. This works very well if you take the time study and understand the options. Also, once you sign a contract the main office sends you a set of forms for you to fill out which are given to the foreman who will be on-site to lead the work. Duane Dailey was my foreman and I highly recommend him. Ask for him by name. He reviewed all my notes with me and I was glad I took th ee to be specific.
The work took only two days. My floors are now warm for the first time! I will never have to worry about insect or rodent infestations, my wood support structures ill no longer be subject to moisture, mold & fungus.
I am one very happy camper.
