The cut trees were removed as agreed, however the problem is that 1) They cut trees outside of the marked perimeter, some of which were 25+ feet outside of the marked perimeter and 2) They cut many of the tagged trees that were to remain. Out of 20 or so trees marked to be kept, 11 of them were cut down and 6 more of them were so damaged that I was told by a certified Arborist as well as by Mr. Daniels that the trees would either probably not live and/or should be removed. 3) They damaged additional trees that were outside of the boundary when clearing a driveway for access. The solution that was provided by Mr. Daniels was he would pay me $200 and remove the damaged trees.
Description of Work: I have a moderately wooded lot of older trees that I needed partially cleared for a house. Within this lot, I was instructed by Mr. Daniels to mark off the perimeter with one color ribbon and to mark the trees inside that perimeter that I do not want removed with a different color ribbon. They would cut the trees that were not marked inside the perimeter and remove cut trees. These trees ranged from saplings to 24+ inches in diameter and included species such as maple, gum, oaks, poplars and pines, some of which were 75-90 feet tall.
