"I first want to thank you for your feedback. As a company, we appreciate both positive AND negative feedback in an effort to better ourselves to provide all of our customers a high level of service and quality. That being said, I take issue with several of your comments. In particular, that we are a "fraudulent scheme", "scam", or "bait-and-switch" operation. You stated that you were going to get an estimate when, in fact, we had already given you an estimate over the phone of $380 - $670 to complete the work as you had described it to us, which you acknowledged by saying "I know it's not cheap". Never once did you request an onsite estimate for the issue at hand. You did ask about installing a storm door to which we told you that the technician could take measurements and write you an estimate for that, specifically, while he was onsite. You also state that the technician started to work once he got there and that you told him to stop, but he had been working for well over 30 minutes and was not asked/told to stop until your wife asked him about the price, which had already been discussed with you on the phone, as previously stated. Our minimum service call is 1 hour, so whether we work for 6 minutes or 60 minutes, the price would be the same. Our technician did not alter any door facing or moulding. He did adjust some of the door jamb weather stripping because some of the weatherstripping was overlapped causing the door not to sit flush once closed. It was me who he was speaking with on the phone to discuss what had been done so far and the possibility of replacing the weatherstripping, not to ask how to fix the doors. The reason that your doors are supposedly worse than when he started is because you did not let him finish after he had already started working on them. Lastly, you said that it was not true that one of your doors was cut unevenly, I can honestly say that that is indeed a fact and if I could post a picture here that shows that very issue, I would. Thank you and have a wonderful day."
