Not only did I need carpet but I need a small tile area near the exterior door. Clemmons carpet had enough spare tile and a guy to do it the next day. I was expecting the carpet to come in a week and they surprised me with it coming in 4 days. Got the tile entry way AND carpet installed the same week it was ordered!! Amazing.
It did not go well... I went with Doug because my girls liked him because he knew some of their teachers at West Forsyth. He is Very personal and I paid him in advance and received about a 5% discount. That was a mistake. The carpet to be installed I was told by my daughter was the lighter colored carpet sample. She told me of the debate she had with Doug where he was pushing the carpet that was installed. Unfortunately, I was out of that discussion and I was the person at the house when the carpet was installed. Not knowing the carpet being laid was not the correct carpet, the job was completed. Doug met with my daughter and my ex later and said it was a misunderstanding that he thought they had agreed to the carpet he was pushing. One thing I do know happened, was with his installers. The lead guy said when he arrived that instead of a 2 day installation that he wanted to do it all that day and could they stay until 6 - 7 pm. I told him NO! He needed to be out of the house by 5 - 5:30 because my daughter had a concert that evening at 7pm and the 3 ladies needed to get ready to go to it. Imagine my surprise when I called at 6:15pm and he was still in the house finishing up. I spoke with him and he seemed offended that I was upset with him for not adhering to the 5pm deadline. The daughter performing had gotten ready and left, but my other daughter and my ex were still in the house. Three women having to shower, etc. with strange men in the house is NOT what I wanted. It was ALL about Doug's crew finishing up so they could move to another job the next day. In the end, they had to come back a couple of times and finish up anyway... NOT a good experience!

Don – That’s absolutely ridiculous what you wrote on Angies List. I mean Come on – are you that shallow of a man where you cant tell me that in
Person ? Your KIDS picked out that carpet , I installed it , it looks great , and you STILL bash me on social media. What a j*******.
Your crazy ex wife threw me under the bus, you believed her, and now you write something ridiculous that is a LIE . A complete lie.
I am so mad right now I could scream that a business man like your self would act like a teenage girl and write something so stupid.
Pathetic.
Dude, get the stories straight before you look like an idiot.

"I met with homewoner, [member name removed] NOT PRESENT , and they picked out carpet . I installed carpet . Job looked very good. Customers happy. After installation , they said wrong carpet . Took sample back over, daughters confirmed that was color. Ex -wife says still wrong color. Customer paid in full prior, and I should up day of installation. Not sure where scheduling issue was , but it takes 2 days to install 160 yards, customer was told this but language barrier an issue . Bottom line : I lived up to my end of bargain, gave good price, installation perfect , so no probelms here . Not sure where I could have improved but job turned out perfect."
