the company was refered to us by a friend who'd had carpets replaced by them in the recent past. Their estimate was thousands less than any other company I'd gotten estimates from. Britni was very easy to talk to and went out of her way to make sure we were happy with our experience. Our carpets were replaced as well as hardwood floors refinnished. The hardwoods looked ok.I would say I'm overall 85% satisfied with them. There were areas in most, if not all of the corners of the rooms where the wood filler they used was not sanded and just sealed over! An entire tack strip row was not even filled in before they stained and sealed leaving obvious holes in one spot. While they did come back ad "fix" the tack strip miss hap, they didn't touch the corners of the rooms where the filler was sealed over. Didn't even offer to fix it.
Our carpet was very nicely installed. However, due to too many people telling them what to do where, some lines got crossed and a closet did not get carpeted when it was supposed to be. They came back and gave me a BS shpeil about having to take up an entire row of carpeting in order to fix it. Not true. Only would've had to pull up and re-seam where the closet door was. I think they just didn't want to bend down and spend 20 more minutes fixing their mess up. Instead the guy cut a piece of carpet to fit the closet and just laid it in there! We were done nagging by that point so we let it go... After all they were thousands less than anyone else. I would recommend using them to friends with only one bit of advise. Stay on top of them. If something isn't to your liking, MAKE them fix it!! Be clear on your standards and hold SCI to those standards.

The job was completed within the timeline and a little below the original estimate.  During the final review of work a few spots were identified to be touched up including:

• a piece of quarter round that was cracked (was replaced)
• fresh bead of c*** in a few areas
• re-cut of tile leading from master bath in to master bedroom closet in order to provide a straighter line

All of these items were address in a timely manner. 

Did a great job in removing a large amount of carpet and installing beautiful hardwood floors. Made sure that all concerns were addressed, came back to fix some imperfections. Polite, prompt and professional. Floor looks beautiful. Have gotten many compliments. Great price, great service and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I called into Southern Comfort Interiors and spoke with a representative about a free estimate. They came out within a couple of days and measured my floors. They brought a nice selection of hardwoods and tiles to choose from. They were on time and had lots of suggestions! Once I received there estimate along with others they had the best price by far! Within a week or so of signing up they had me on the schedule for installation. The installers and office staff were hard working and very professional.  After the installation my floors and paint looked wonderful!  I felt like I was in another home ? The quality of there work is great and I would refer them over and over again!

I'm always nervous about hiring people to work in my home. Everyone in the store was friendly and the guys they sent to do the work were clean and professional. I got some other price quotes but their price was great and everything went great. It also made me feel safe that the guys working all had background checks. I was very pleased.

I was over charged to the point that the installers, who were GREAT, told me I was being ripped off!I I then went price comparing to other stores and found out it was TRUE! The owners avoided my phone calls.

I called to set up an estimate, they were on time and the estimator was informative and had suggestions I wouldn't have thought of myself. The installers were courteous and cleaned up after they were done. I honestly can say from start to finish they were hands down the best company for home improvements. They have a good amount of things they will do and it's so much easier going through one company to get all the work done. Not to mention their financing options were great, no money out of pocket this time of year was a blessing.
