If I could rate higher than excellent, I would. Peter Barksdale and his team work like a precision team. They were always here when they said they would be. They worked tirelessly all day with not a minute wasted. It is amazing to see that kind of work ethic. They tore down our existing deck, built a new larger porch with part screened and part open. They built beautiful waterfall steps. Peter ensured that we were satisfied with every aspect of the project as it went along. The finished product is beautiful, and we have enjoyed it more than I could have even imagined.

We just wanted to take the time to express our gratitude toward Peter Barksdale and team! We bought a newly constructed home in 2009 and began having issues with our flooring shortly after moving in. Peter worked persistently with our builder to discover the cause of the issue and worked efficiently to fix our problem. Peter?s dedication to the job and perfectionism greatly exceeded our expectations!

My experience was excellent and I would highly recommend Renovations and Finishing. Peter spent time on the estimate detailing each item and letting me know if there were options that could increase or decrease the cost. He gave me choices about the quality of the material and outlined the advantages and disadvantages of each. The crew was there when Peter said they would be. He came by each day that work was done and was quickly accessible when I had any questions. One of the things that is really outstanding about the way in which Peter works is that if they identify other problems or issues that would impact the effectiveness of the work they identify it and fix the issues. As an example whoever put our roof on previously did not have the boards set in the right way which allowed increased heat and potential leakage. They fixed the problem without asking or charging extra. There was also a design flaw in our roof which let water leak down the side of our house. Again Peter and his crew redesigned the section and fixed it so it is both functionally and esthetically better. They are outstanding. They are reasonably priced particularly given the price you get.

Peter took a great deal of time understanding what we needed both functionally and aesthetically. He completed the work in such a manner that it minimizes the disruption to our home and our lives. He cleaned up completely after the work was done.
