I met with Ben Proutey and discussed all the options for our backyard upgrade which included adding a 10' x 17' covered porch, drainage, decorative cabinet to streamline the grill area, and decorative concrete . Ben was very straight forward, listened, and provided a line item based estimate that really helped clarify the job and all the costs involved. My wife and I ultimately decided to hold off on our backyard upgrade due to unrelated life events, but are definitely going to revisit in not so distant future.

He does excellent work. He pays lots of attention to detail. His crew is all very capable and equally good at paying attention to detail.

Ben was extremely polite, punctual, and professional. Once the project is a approved, we look forward to working with him.

I needed a special type of exhaust fan installed in my attic and I was well pleased with their work. I’d definitely use them for minor or major construction jobs again. They were very friendly and easy to work with, and the price was very reasonable for such high quality work. What impressed me most was their professionalism.

We have been thrilled with Proutey! This is the 2nd time we have hired his team, and have more projects in mind for the future. Ben has a team for anything you could want, and has come through on everything. I love that he is reachable, and is very good at keeping the lines of communication open. He discusses desires in depth and comes up with plans and ideas to fit what you want, and your budget. He is very fair and flexible. In 2012, we had agreed on a plan for the front porch, and he had ordered everything perfectly. While we were waiting on some of the supplies to arrive, we realized we liked it without some of the planned additions. When we told Ben we didnt want to add the extra supplies which were on their way, he got on the phone with the vendor and within 48 hours had convinced them to let him return the items (which was typically not allowed by this vendor), and receive a refund. Ben explained that he couldnt get them to waive the $75 restocking fee, and that he would appreciate it if I covered that. No problem! He just saved us $475 in products that we decided we did not want. Customer service is above and beyond. Creativity and problem solving is top notch! Highly reccommend.

The hot water heater in our 2 story house burst and left our house with water damage on both floors. The mitigation process left us without walls and ceilings needing replacement as well as water damaged tile and carpet/hardwood flooring areas that needed replacing. Proutey Construction did a nice job overall of getting our house back to normal and even better than it was originally and they finished the job in a prompt and timely manner.

Working with Proutey Construciton was wonderful. Ben Proutey and his crew take pride in their work and the attention to detail was greatly appreciated. Ben responded to every email, text or phone call timely and we were kept informed on the progress regularly. They stayed with the job until we were satisfied with the results. My yard was kept tidy throughout construction. We are very pleased with our new porch and feel very comfortable recommending the company to others.

Ben and his father Don did an excellent job resurfacing my kitchen cabinets. They were very punctual, professional and helpful with the decisions I was trying to make on color etc. I was so impressed that I am having them do my new kitchen flooring.
