Capital Bank's Paula Jackson is an outstanding representative, personally informed me of a variety of products that would benefit me including CD and IRA sales, a home equity line with a great rate plus incentives to apply and made several other money-saving suggestions. I have a home equity line of credit with Capital Bank and have been extremely happy with the service and rate (prime plus 0). I recently contacted Darrell Hughes, mortgage loan officer at Capital Bank Clayton branch to see if it would benefit me to refinance my 10 year mortgage. He did calculations and determined that with closing costs and interest rate variances, I would not be better off refinancing. He responded via email with the result in about an hour. I would highly recommend checking with Capital Bank and Darrell if you are interested in refinancing, equity lines, or getting a new mortgage. All Capital Bank personnel with who I have had contact have been extremely friendly, customer-service oriented and knowledgeable.
