World Stone

Went over and above what was expected.  We were on a time crunch and they even worked late into the evening to finish in time for us to stay on schedule.  Everyone was very helpful and accommodating, especially John and Joel!

Great experience.  Purch from Lowes, chose granite piece in Charlotte store and Jefferson nc installers came to Deep Gap house to install.  Looks great. Seamed so not noticeable. Prompt and courteous installers. Very pleased with work

They did a wonderful job! Randy Lambreth went with me down to the stone place to pick out the stone I wanted. She was very helpful in helping me pick out the right stone! She was very patient and knew what she was doing. She was easy to work with. They came the day after a snow storm and they actually chipped the ice off the sidewalk before coming in. They all did a great job and went out of their way!

They did a very good job in terms of design. It was countertop and tile. We had a little bit of difficulty with the installation but nothing out of the ordinary. We are very pleased with the finished product. Everything was fine with the workers.

Originally I was very pleased but I had a problem with the contractor whom they recommended. When I called them to try to get them to help me, I couldn?t get them to call me back. Once the job was done, it was as if they had washed their hands of me. I had severe problems with the contractor and they were so busy that they never called me back to help. It wasn?t their obligation to help but I was upset over that. They cut a hole in the wrong place and I was quite unhappy over that but otherwise the countertops are beautiful. It?s a huge mistake and I felt like I could jump up and down to make them give me a new slab but I didn?t do that. I have a lot of countertops so in the bigger picture, they are great. That one hole was cut incorrectly and the guys that did it put some sort of black gunk on it to cover up the edge instead of telling me about it. The hole is for computer and tv wires but I?ve had people in the construction business here tell me that it?s a huge mistake. The price was considerable.

They were punctual and pleasant to work with. The project was completed on time and on budget. They were respectful of my home and did a good job cleaning up after themselves. I would highly recommend them.

They came measured the cabinet tops, they did this using computer with the laser beam, with which I was impressed. They measured it perfectly as it was a single piece but with 3 curvatures and fixed perfectly. The work was excellent and their personality was good. The salesmen and workers who came here to install treated us very well. The workmanship is number one.

It went very well. They did a great job. The price was excellent and they did exactly what we wanted. They arrived promptly and finished on time. They had it completed in less than a week, they were very fast. They are very nice. At their show room a lady that worked their was very kind and helped me out.

Janelle came up with my tile back splash look which another contractor installed that I absolutely love. I have a rather large island and we were able to get it in one piece. We also had a little trouble with the granite not fitting well against the planning desk wall which required World Stone to come out the next day and reposition. They were very responsive.

Starting with our visit to the showroom through installation and follow up, it was a terrific experience. Janelle is exactly the type of person I would want greeting my perspective customers. Welcoming, hospitable, knowledgeable and patient, she helped us settle on a choice that is perfect for our kitchen. The workers who did the installation were on time, got right to work, cleaned as they went, and finished quickly and expertly. Robert visited while work was in progress, and followed up to ensure our satisfaction. We could not have been more pleased with the results. World Stone turned what could have been a stressful renovation into a painless event with terrific results. Thanks!

The overall experience was very poor. They have a wide selection (or at least the distributors they use do), but they made the process very cumbersome. Beth was terrible about following up with us. She would tell us that she would call in two weeks and three weeks would pass without a call. I always had to call her back. The installation was sloppy. The joints are uneven so that a dish that straddles a seam rocks back and forth. There are quite a few chips and very obvious patches. The cooktop cutout is too big on one side and they filled in the gap with some sort of filler. We used another company for our old house and they were far superior (they are a chain). We used Worldstone this time for the selection but it wasn't worth it!

BEAUTIFUL WORK - NO OTHER GRANITE COMPANY I CONTACTED WAS WILLING TO WORK ON A PIECE OF GRANITE I ALREADY READY HAD. IRONICALLY, WHEN THIS COMPANY CAME OUT TO MEASURE AND REMOVE THE ISLAND TOP, THEY WERE ABLE TO DETERMINE THEY HAD INSTALLED IT SEVERAL YEARS BEFORE FOR A PREVIOUS OWNER. FIREPLACE LOOKS FABULOUS. COMPANY WAS VERY PATIENT IN LETTING ME LOOK AT MANY REMNANT PIECES OF LIMESTONE AND MARBLE TO CHOOSE A STONE FOR THE FIREPLACE.

SERVICE IN THE SHOWROOM WAS GREAT, THE INSTALLERS WERE GREAT, AND THE FINISHED PRODUCT IS BEAUTIFUL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

JENELL HONEYCUTT (DESIGN CONSULTANT) WORKED WITH US VERY PATIENTLY FOR ALMOST ONE YEAR AS WE WENT THROUGH THE PROCESS OF RENOVATING OUR 70 YEAR OLD HOUSE AND FINALLY SELECTING THE GRANITE FOR OUR KITCHEN COUNTERTOPS. SHE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE, HELPFUL, HONEST, KIND AND GAVE GOOD DESIGN ADVICE THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS. WHEN THE DAY CAME FOR THE FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION WE WERE EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THAT STAFF AS WELL! WE SELECTED A GRANITE FOR OUR ISLAND THAT HAS A "RIVER OF MOVEMENT" IN IT SO WE WERE AMAZED AT THE WAY THEY FABRICATED IT IN SUCH A WAY THAT IT WAS ARTISTICALLY PLEASING AS WELL AS BEAUTIFUL. EVERYONE AT WS WAS VERY NICE TO US THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS FROM THE PERSON ANSWERING THE TELEPHONE RIGHT ON UP TO ROBERT, WHO IS THE MANAGER. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND WSTONE. THEY TREATED US LIKE FAMILY!
