WOOD WAY FLOORING

I am still trying to get the issue resolved. I have had every excuse in the book from these people WHEN they have responded. My floors are going to have to be taken up and new floors purchased and put down correctly. I would NEVER NEVER NEVER recommend this group or allow them into my house or ANYONE I know !!!!!

We had our house re-floored in August 2007, by Wood Way Flooring (Joel Chavez). We were quoted one price and we were given an invoice with "paid" stamped on our invoiced. In the last week of December of 2007, we received a very disturbing phone call from Mr. Chavez stating that a mistake had been made and we owed an additional $500 and that the "machine" had made a mistake. Mr. Chavez also completed some tile work and stated that we would not be charged due to the amount of flooring we were having done. He asked us not to tell anyone. He offered this to us we did not solicit the extra work. Basically we agreed on one price and paid that price, we were quoted and invoiced. We do not understand why he is wanting an additional $500 especially three months later. This is very suspicious. Also Mr. Chavez has turned this over to a collection agency in an attempt to scare us into paying the money. I would not recommend to anyone to use Wood Way flooring or Joel Chavez due to his unethical business practices.
