I rarely write these reviews, but I decided that I wanted to share my experience at Wilburn Auto Body.
After calling several dealerships for recommendations, the only shop they all recommended was Wilburn. The service provided was excellent. Mitch, my service rep., called every other day to update me on the status of my car. He kept me informed and was extremely professional. The work they did was spectacular. You can't tell these are not the original parts. I've often heard stories of auto body shops or repair shops taking advantage of women, but I felt they treated me with the upmost respect. I would recommend Wilburn to anyone. They made a stressful situation bearable.
Lastly, after my service was complete, Mitch followed up to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. It is hard to beat great customer service, but their's was truly expectional!

I am always a cynic when it comes to auto shops, most are out to get you. The one positive I will say is that Kyle was a good guy to work with.
They did an okay job, better than it looked before but there were a lot of excuses in the work. 'Well we didn't get to that dent because', or 'we didn't replace the whole part but'....
Had to take it back once to get some overlooked things repaired and now have to go back one more time to get a part replaced. Both times had a wrong number for us to tell us our car was ready so it sat over the weekend and we wasted car rental dollars. If they lost our number how were they able to eventually get a hold of us?
So in my opinion we spent way too much for halfway work. We didn't make the time to search out and get a second opinion. I won't make that same mistake. I would say if you are getting some simple work done and their estimate is within your insurance check amount, they'll do a fine job.

They were very good and basically worked with us and the insurance company to get the repair done. They are very professional and did a great job looking over the damage. They also did a great job of getting everything repaired; they actually got it fixed ahead of schedule.

I went to Wilburn Auto Body on Tryon St during lunch to see about having my rear bumper and side panel painted. Somebody scraped it lightly and it broke the paint. There was *NO* damage to either the side panel or the bumper itself. The area affected was rather small, and I will post pictures. In fact, I didn't realize it it had been scraped until I was washing the car and noticed the discoloration and marks. Because I bought my car new and plan on keeping it for at least 12 years (it's a 2010 Camry), I wanted the area fixed properly.I figured this was a small job - mask off the area, sand a little, maybe some spot fill, then paint. I was expecting $300 at the very highest. The estimate, with tax, came to $712.03.The estimater claimed that they would remove the entire bumper and bottom spolier, requiring replacement of the rubber gaskets around the lights, and full painting of all of the removed items, rather than paint in place. I am flabbergasted at this estimate. It's beyond ridiculous for a really minor repair. I will have to find someone here on Angie's List to do it for a fair price.

It took them about 5 days which was longer than expected. They communicated well with me but just in saying it will be tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. They worked very well with the insurance company though and in the end everything was fine.
