Called to say they were an the way. They were friendly and helpful. They wrapped the desk and moved it with no problem, then added felt pads installed the drawers and cleaned up. They were great and I would highly recommend them.

They do it by the hour. They actually had a really good coupon on Angie's List that I got and we did this as a gift for my daughter and her husband. I think it was a free hour and a half basically was what it was. So that the whole move was about 3 hours long. It was under $500, which was pretty good. 3 people, truck and driving. A two-story house to a two-story house. I'll tell ya they were so good. The first time we used them was a few years back when my daughter and her husband were moving into the house they just moved out of and they were trying to do it on their own. They were under a deadline to be out of the old house because they were closing and they ran out of time and it was Sunday night, at like 5 o'clock or something. They called me said can you make some phone calls and see if anybody can help us finish unloading the truck tomorrow morning. So I made a few phone calls and the owner of the company actually picked up the phone, was very accommodating and he sent two men for me first thing 8 o'clock in the morning, next day. I 'd never had anybody pick up the phone for me before. And so they were like that. Then when we used them, we were getting rid of a lot of furniture that we wanted to give to Salvation Army so they packed up the truck in such a way so that they could drop it off at the Salvation Army on the way to our new place, stuff we were giving away. Just real nice, real thorough, did a really good job of wrapping everything.

My wife and I were extremely impressed with the service, communication, punctuality, professionalism and quality of work performed by Jimmy, Clarence and Marques. This involved the transfer of furniture and other household goods form a storage unit to our home. They also helped moving boxes and furniture into a loft area and storage space above the garage. They were pleasant, respectful and hard working. They got the job done as quickly as possible (2.75 hours). Dave Riddle was a pleasure to work with too (excellent communication). Couldn't have gone better. Thanks Two Strong Dudes!

OUTSTANDING moving experience! Can not say enough positive things about our experience with this business. From the first call I found the Two Strong Dudes team to be kind, caring, and professional. The office staff assisted when our closing date was changed and we had to change our scheduled move date. They were very accommodating! The day of team was beyond amazing - STRONG! professional! respectful! mindful of details! moved us and by end of the day they felt like family! I called to inquire about their promotion that they have to offer and they didn't know anything about the promotion. They also said that the promotion would state what was included.. it did not and nobody had any idea of how many men or how many hours the promotion included? Not sure how you have a promotion with no details involving that. Also- they said if I went over the promotional hours I would have to pay the hourly rate + the service fee.. that the service fee wasn't included in the promotion. There is Nowhere on the promo that mentioned there were additional fees. Just seemed really unorganized and that the guy wasn't sure about what he was even speaking on. You should educate those that answer the phone on what you're actually selling and not HIDE any additional fees. That's false advertisement.

Everything went better than we could hope for. Hired 3 guys, 1 guy had a family emergency, so we started out with a 2 man crew. Dave was in constant communication throughout. The third guy came in on his day off and met the other 2 on site without missing a beat. Extremely professional and hard working. Each man made sure to take the time to make sure they introduced themselves and expressed their intent on making our move a pleasant one, and we could not be more pleased.

They did a great job in moving the heavy furniture, which was primarily why we hired them. They were very friendly and courteous. However, they didn't do a great job packing dishes. Nothing got broken and we were only moving less than a mile, but I would be a little nervous hiring them to pack up my house.

This is the first review I've ever written and the only reason I did is to warn potential customers. Micromanage to the fullest and never leave the crew unattended. I have moved more than a dozen times in my life, and this is the worst experience than all of the other moves combined. The moving crew called me upon arrival outside at 8:54 am. They parked and entered my apartment at 9:01 am, but they started billing me at 8:45 am. They were very polite and got to work immediately; however, they needed to be micromanaged because they cut corners and did not handle my household goods with care unless they were being watched. Several expensive pieces of electronics were dropped inside boxes and wouldn't have been wrapped with any type of protective paper or padding unless I said something. Once the items were packed, they were routinely left unattended in a common area next to the exit closest to the street. When the items were moved into the truck, they were again left unattended with the truck door open on a busy city street. I took all of this into account and upon meeting the moving crew at the storage unit, I told them I could help by checking off items from the inventory as they moved them into the storage unit. The crew notified me that they didn't document an inventory, a line item checklist, or even a total number of items in the move. This was unacceptable and I quickly contacted Lisette, the Assistant Office Manager, who was fantastic with the planning and coordination. Unfortunately, she was unable to help me and passed me off to Tiffany, a co-owner. What a disappointment. It became clear that Tiffany had no formal training in customer service because of her terrible attitude, rude behavior, and textbook rebuttals to pass off any responsibility that her company should have assumed. Anyone that has been trained in customer service would understand that under no circumstances should the business talk over, yell at, and insult the customer. The customer isn't necessarily always right, but the customer is still the customer. Textbook. The discussion started with my question about not having an inventory. She replied with her company's reputation, their BBB rating, and their reviews; none of which were relevant to my question. How did I know if all of my items were accounted for? That was all I needed to have answered. She never asked me what could be done to fix the situation and how I could be satisfied with their service due to their "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed" notice on their website. Instead, she further replied that it wasn't in the their policy to conduct an inventory and I should have specifically requested that, even though this had been intuitive with every other mover I had ever conducted business with. She began to raise her voice, so I raised my voice. She spoke over me, yelled at me, insulted me, and at one point accused me of wanting something for nothing when I asked her to make the situation right. I wanted an inventory of my goods, which she was willing to charge me additionally for, even though it should have been proactively completed during the move. At this point, she was so rude and talking in circles, I requested to speak with someone else. She wasn't able to accommodate and she asked me to explain my story once again because she was going to document everything. I started to explain my story again, but noticed that she clearly had put me on speakerphone. At this point, I ended the conversation because there was no reasoning with an unreasonable business. After I ended the call, the moving crew notified me that they finished offloading the truck and moved my goods into my storage unit. They walked me inside to inspect the storage unit and as if to prove my inventory point, two adjacent elevators had their doors open simultaneously and I saw a dresser, a framed picture, and two small boxes inside one of them. Davy, another co-owner, called me a few minutes later and although more polite, responded the same way. It wasn't in their policy to conduct an inventory and since all of my goods were off the truck and in the storage unit, they no longer assumed any responsibility. Again, there was no reason to continue the conversation. I settled with the moving crew and even though the move was complete at 12:27pm, they continued charging me until 12:45pm due to my ongoing discussion with Davy over the phone. After the moving crew left, I inspected further and found my BOSE TV speaker ($400) and a large art portrait ($550) shrink-wrapped only and left loose with no protective paper or padding. My 65 inch TV ($3,000) and 32 inch TV ($450) were only wrapped with one pad and shrink-wrap, but no cardboard box stuffed with more padding for protection. I found a lamp ($150) that was completely loose with no padding, paper, or shrink-wrap. There were also several furniture corners that had broken through the protective paper and are now exposed. Overall, this experience was terrible. The lack of care with my household goods, attention to detail with an inventory, terrible customer service, and altering the timing to overcharge me were completely unacceptable. I will have to hire a better moving company to come in and fix the mistakes for my long distance move in the future.

As a company, we are truly sorry that Mr. [Member Name Removed] felt his service was subpar and we aren't the type of moving company that would do any of the above mentioned in his review [and Mr. [Member Name Removed] knows this] as we were fully prepared for him to be less than truthful in his review and remarks. We would not be where we are today without the amazing staff we have employed and for Mr. [Member Name Removed] to yell profane and derogatory language at our staff and bring our Assistant Business Office Manager to tears and suggest to me that he would indeed write a review to accuse the staff of damaging his property because of some previous and negative experiences that he had with moving companies is hurtful. Mr. [Member Name Removed], you and I know the truth regarding your move and I won't be apart of this public exchange to demean the company's values and integrity. In the service industry, we are geared to the notion that the client is always right and we at Two Strong Dudes Moving strive to make sure each of our clients are happy with our services in each and every way, yet, with Mr. [Member Name Removed] who only wanted to bully and intimidate our hard working staff because of his previous and negative experiences with other moving companies-we just could not allow the insultive behavior to continue. Perfect. My wife and I are real estate agents in the Charlotte area and looked for recommendations from our clients and colleagues, no one had good things to say about their moving companies - too expensive, careless, late, you name it. I did a bit of research and came across Two Strong Dudes Moving Company and couldn't be happier. The 2 movers were prompt, pleasant and very hard working. The company is very transparent with the pricing and there were NO surprises when I got my bill/total. We we able to knock out my move in just barely over 3 hours! On time; texted to let me know they were running late due to traffic, but showed up only 5 minutes after scheduled appointment time. Three man crew wrapped and packed everything on the truck in about an hour, drove to the new place and unloaded it all. New place had a loading dock, but also a long walk to the elevator. Everything was unwrapped, placed just where we wanted and all the boxes in the middle of the room. Price was based on hourly rate that I had approved in advance. Beginning to end in less than four hours.

I called on Sunday to confirm my move for the next Saturday. My calls and emails from Sunday through Wednesday were not returned or acknowledged until THURSDAY prior to my move. I had, by then, made other arrangements, not trusting the lack of communication and the last-minuteness of the confirmation of a large move. You hear too many times that moving companies over-commit their resources and I was not going to risk a no-show on moving day.
