BEWARE!! YOU WILL GET SCAMMED. On September 22nd I set an appointment with TIP TOP to replace my garage door opener that failed. My opener was a LIFTMASTER 8587WL. On Monday September 23rd, Angelo came out to look at the Opener. We agreed that the failed opener would be replaced with a LIFTMASTER 85870 3/4 hp opener. Today while I was at work Angelo came to install the opener. When I got home I went to look at the new opener. Angelo had installed a USED LIFTMASTER 8580 WLB that was made On October 15, 2019 and has since been discontinued. How this man was able to get away with installing a used discontinued opener that was made 5 years ago is beyond unacceptable. This complaint doesnt even scratch the surface of Angelo also damaging my fgarage door with his scale. I want a full refund of $1,227.63 I have attached 2 photos. Photo #1 shows the dirty used LIFTMASTER OPENER. Photo #2 Shows the manufactured date of Oct 15, 2019. Beware!!

Angelo replaced both springs on my aging garage door quickly and with a smile. he was cheerful and courteous and finished the large job in less than an hour. thank you, Angelo. i'll use tiptop again the next time i need garage door service.

Bo, arrived on time and provided me with a detailed diagnostic report and repaired the electrical issue as well as adjusting the door sensors, the tracks sensor, and replacing all door rollers and applying silicone to them. The project was done well and at a reasonable price. He also, left me with several quotes for replacing the garage motors as they age with a more modern system. I was very satisfied with his experience , judgement and professionalism. I recommend him without reservation and would certainly use his company again in the future.

We wanted to install a garage door opener into our older, low-ceiling garage in Myers Park, and the other garage door installers said it couldn't be done unless we wanted to pay $3000+ to replace half the garage. Nick from TipTop figured it out in less than 10 minutes. He was able to install a top-of-the-line WiFi belt-driven garage door opener for us in the space of 2 hours for a fraction of what everyone else was quoting. Getting this sort of ingenuity at such a reasonable price is a rare find. I can't recommend Nick from TipTop highly enough, especially if your garage is older or has atypical dimensions. They are the only garage specialists in Charlotte who saw the solution to our problem and had it done and ready to go in a few hours.
