Really enjoyed this home depot they had everything I was looking for to make my storage in my back house

I took a home made drawing to Home Depot for a quote for countertops. John in the kitchen dept is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He took a lot of time and I decided on a color and he gave me a quote. I went back a few days later and we discussed some options. I asked him about the subcontractor and he told me they use the same one all the time. He said Home Depot stands by their work. A week or so later, the subcontractor came out to measure. He took several measurements from different angles. He seemed very methodical in his work. A few weeks later the quartz was fabricated and the sub called to make an appointment for installation. The installers came out, made all necessary cuts outside, and carried the tops inside and put them in place. They installed the sink and backsplash and were finished in about three hours. I was amazed at how well the tops fit and how hard these installers worked. The countertops look great and I am pleased. The sub was very good and called after installation to make sure I was satisfied.

I would recommend them. The countertops were done in November and the windows, roof and gutters were done in June.

I did not work through a particular Home Depot Store but through the internet. The estimator arrived when he said he would. He was very professional and gave me a written estimate on this first visit. There was no pressure. I was reviewing other estimates for the same work and told the estimator that I wanted all bids before I made a decision. The other bids were considerably lower. After discussion 'we' decided to go with a large company rather than a local builder as follow up with problems might be easier. Payment was made as I signed the contract, however, the check was not cashed until I had signed off on the project. Paying up front, except for material, does leave me a little uncomfortable. Because of my schedule we had to delay the start of the project from June to August. The scheduler at the sub-contractor, Borg Fence and Decks of Sacramento, was easy to work with. On the day of construction three men arrived with all necessary material. I had done my part, that is, removed all of the plantings on or near the fence line. Had I not done this, the cost would have been more. The men quickly removed the old fence and installed the new metal posts in concrete. The work took most of the day but the fence was complete by the end of the day. The fence is as sturdy as the estimator predicted it would be. It will probably be easier to repair in the future. All fencing that was removed was hauled away by the builders. The area around the fence was clean. Would I pay this much for the same fence again? Probably not. The local builder, that I liked the most, probably would have done an exceptional job as he had completed fences for neighbors.

Called ahead and was told they had all lengths (25', 50', 75', 100') of power drain augers available to rent(that day). When I arrived at the store, a short time later, I had to wait for quite awhile to get someone to help me. After speaking with the employee it became apparent that most of the augers were not functioning. They had one 100' auger that appeared to have electrical shorting issues when it was briefly tested, but it was still rented to me. Got it to the work area and attempted to use it, but it wasn't possible, as it continually tripped its built-in GFI. I returned it and was refunded my money. It was a total waste of time gas and effort. Wish I had just been told they didn't have a working power auger. I would have gone somewhere else.

It was a good deal and it was on sale. We had done some comparison-shopping. Home Depot is kind of up and down, but on this particular purchase, they did a good job.

Les arrived early for our appointment. He was knowledgeable about the types of fences available and had a binder of photos for me to look at so I could see the different options. He explained the services provided and left me with a written quote. I got estimates from 4 fence companies, and Home Depot's was by far the most expensive.

John Hudson of the subcontractor was excellant to work with. Was professional and polite and provided us with different ideas of location and type of gates to help reduce the overall costs. After the install, we had issues when dealing with Hope Depot to get a stray section of fence removed and to fill the holes dug in the concete for the gate posts. Overall price was competive and service was excellant. I would recommend using Home Depot for a fencing install.

GOOD STOCK SELECTION, REASONABLE PRICES. THEY WERE HELPFUL IN THE STORE AND PROMPT IN DELIVERING THE PRODUCT.

WENT TO SEVERAL SMALLER CARPET STORES, BUT FOUND THE PRICES VERY HIGH. I NEEDED CARPET FOR A GUEST BEDROOM THAT IS RARELY USED, SO I DIDN'T WANT TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY ON SOMETHING FOR A "HIGH TRAFFIC" AREA. WENT TO HOME DEPOT WITH MY PAINT COLOR AND THEY HELPED ME PICK OUT THE NEW CARPET IN ABOUT 30 MINUTES. THEY ARRANGED THE INSTALLATION WHICH INCLUDED HAVING SOMEONE COME BY AND TAKE MEASUREMENTS AND THEN SUBMITTING THE ESTIMATE TO ME BY PHONE. WHEN I PURCHASED THE CARPET THEY HAD "ESTIMATED" WHAT THE INSTALLATION WOULD BE AND THE ACTUAL ESTIMATE WAS ALMOST IDENTICAL TO WHAT THE SALESPERSON SAID. CARPET WAS INSTALLED THE NEXT WEEK AND LOOKS GREAT! KEEP IN MIND YOU HAVE TO BE THERE WHEN THE INSTALLATION TAKES PLACE, BUT I DIDN'T MIND THAT AFTER HEARING ABOUT A FRIEND WHO CAME HOME TO FIND THE WRONG CARPET HAD BEEN INSTALLED WHILE SHE WAS AT WORK. NO CHANCE OF THAT WHEN YOU GO THROUGH HOME DEPOT. ALSO, IF YOU APPLY FOR A CREDIT CARD YOU CAN GET 10% OFF.

HE ARRIVED LATE AND STAYED LATE, KNOWING FULL WELL THAT HE WAS KEEPING US FROM MEETING A FRIEND FOR LUNCH. WE EVENTUALLY HAD TO CALL THE RESTAURANT AND ASK THEM TO TELL OUR FRIEND THAT WE COULDN'T BE THERE BECAUSE, ALTHOUGH THE GUY HAD BEEN THERE FOR NEARLY TWO HOURS, HE STILL HADN'T GOTTEN AROUND TO GIVING US AN ESTIMATE! HE STRUCK US AS AN INCONSIDERATE EGOTIST WHO LOVED THE SOUND OF HIS OWN VOICE. BY THE WAY, WHEN HE DID GIVE US AN ESTIMATE, IT WAS FAR HIGHER THAN WE HAD EXPECTED IT TO BE.

A FIELD SUPERVISOR)FROM HOME DEPOT, VERIFIED THE SALESMAN'S MEASUREMENTS PRIOR TO ORDERING THE WINDOWS AND THEN DID THE FINAL INSPECTION TO ENSURE THE INSTALLATION WAS DONE CORRECTLY. ALTHOUGH THE WORK IS DONE BY A SUBCONTRACTOR, ALL THE GUARANTEES ARE THROUGH HOME-DEPOT (MAJOR SELLING POINT). THE WINDOW BUYING PROCESS BEGINS AT YOUR LOCAL HOME DEPOT. THEY CONTACT THE HOME DEPOT AT-HOME SALES REP, WHO THEN CONTACTS YOU FOR AN APPOINTMENT.

GREAT JOB. PURCHASED CARPET THERE AND THEY INSTALLED IT.
