I can't say enough about the excellent Customer Service that Jeannie provided us. We needed an outdoor dining set and Jeannie showed us several different options to choose from. I decided against using an on-line box store website due to poor quality issues, we needed something durable that could sit outside year-round and not worry about the harsh elements of the weather and something comfortable. Jeannie showed us a line by Patio Renaissance, we decided on (6) Dining Chairs from the Greenville Collection and (1) Dining Table from the Hampton Collection. It is absolutely gorgeous! We love it! Jeannie was able to have it delivered from the local warehouse, based on our availability or schedule for delivery. The delivery guys were very nice and cordial. We give Hearth & Patio, on Monroe Road, the entire experience from shopping with Jeannie to the delivery guys, an A+++!!!

Ok overall

Very efficient and friendly service at the store. Service person who installed the following week was on time and also very efficient in removing old and installing the new logs, and especially helpful in explaining how to turn on pilot light, etc. He even suggested using my iPad to video the instructions. Great idea! Days are still hot, so I haven't actually used the logs yet. This coming winter will be the true test as to how pleased I am with this purchase and product.

Very good experience.  Received great help in the store in deciding among the many options available for my fireplace.  Installation also went very well and the logs look great!

Installation was prompt, accommodating, and efficient.  The logs themselves have given us lots of pleasure and look the most like a woodburning fireplace.

They called to let me know they would be late, but I had already left to meet them, other than that, it went perfect. Installed Buckstove insert and chimney ss pipe, did not scratch mantle, centered and installed per code. Very friendly and informative installer (2nd part contractor). Not much room to barter on price.

I called Hearth and Patio to get information on servicing my existing gas logs.  Don quickly arranged for the service tech, Mike, to come.  Mike was knowledgeable, professional and determined the problem(s) without delay.

I purchased a Buck Stove wood-burning fireplace insert from Hearth & Patio on Monroe Rd.  Installation of the unit is contracted out, and I was very fortunate to have Nick Cox and Gary Claflin from "Hearth & Patio Installations" as the installation contractors.  They arrived on time to install the full-length chimney liner and the wood stove into my existing fireplace.  From the minute they pulled into the driveway, through the entire installation and to the final testing of the unit, Nick and Gary were friendly, professional, courteous and helpful.  They are both extremely knowledgeable about fireplace installations and taught me how to use my new unit.  They even left me contact information in case I had any problems or questions afterwards.  If I ever have fireplace or chimney questions or maintenance in the future, I will definitely call them.

They have been locally owned and operated for a long time in Charlotte so they already came well recommended. The customer service is great and they were very accessible. They offer some very good sales throughout the year. They offer prompt safe delivery of their products. They offer very good quality products.

Excellent experience.  We had been debating updating our existing fireplace which had old and ugly gas logs and an outdated, poorly installed door.  Shopped around a bit and decided on Hearth and Patio mainly because they carried a much higher quality glass/screen door for the same price as lesser doors elsewhere and they did their own installation of both the logs and door.  Cindy, the salesperson at the Smith Corners store was wonderful.  She knew her products , made excellent suggestions, and was able to accomodate our somewhat tight time schedule.  Chris, our installer, was on time, pleasant, and efficient. The first night we used the new logs, which have a remote control start, the flame went out after about an hour.  We shut off the gas (who wants to take a chance with this!) and called Cindy the following morning for advice.  She arranged for Chris to come out the next day to check everything and see what went wrong.  No charge--no question--no "attitude".  Chris determined that the control inside the hearth got too hot and the system shut down as a safety measure as intended.  To prevent this from happening again, he suggested that we purchase an inexpensive insulating decorative pinecone or wood chip to keep the control from getting so hot.  We went back to Hearth and Patio, spoke to our friend Cindy who called Chris to make sure she knew what he had recommended.  $21.00 and we're back in business--logs staying on and looking great and a beautiful custom door that looks terrific.  Hearth and Patio is a well run business with associates that clearly care about their customers .

Several visits to stores shopping, and then about 3 to Hearth & Patio. Spoke with Cindy Marze the first visit, and always requested her the next time. Extremely helpful, good memory, did not try to sell me something I didn't need. The part I wish I didn't have to say - the installers showed me how to turn on, I didn't remember, so Cindy actually made a housecall to show the idiot how to operate the control. Need to be careful if calling the store on Monroe - they didn't seem to like telling me Cindy is at Smith Corners store. She is great.

Our sales person, Donna, was extemely informative and helpful in making our selection very easy. Installation was great - Mike was punctual, professional and an overall pleasure. We were extremely pleased to have a functioning fireplace for Christmas!
