He walked her through step by step processes patiently, was very knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. Have already shared his information with others who plan to use him again in the near future. Am so grateful that he was able to help my friend back up cherished pictures and memories of her late husband. Would highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Gifted some Gadget Guide help for a family friend who had just lost her husband. She needed some help merging phones, backing up pictures, updating software, and other tutorials for her Mac and other electronics.

Description of Work: I had several questions on computer programs I have but didn't know how to use. Scott has been educating me on how to beeter use what I already own. He has also adjusted the sound system (20 years old) in our house so it now works much better.

 + 0 moreScott delivered; he not only has the skillsets, but he's good at explaining things to non-tekkies, and is very patient, willing to explain the same things more on more than one occasion. He is also able to provide information to help one make a decision, and share an opinion without being pushy; an excellent tutor.
Description of Work: Despite being a professional, I have an extremely low techno-geek quotient, and needed someone to teach me how to really use my phone and computer. Basic skills that most people seem to know, and that I'm tired of depending on family and friends for, such as organizing my photos across both devices, making up a spread sheet, getting the GPS system to actually talk to me, etc.

Description of Work: Several computer and smart phone projects Scott Larmee handled for both my wife and I. Not only did he quickly solve our computer problems that had been very frustrating to us, but provide a lot of helpful hints on how to use our equipment easier. Scott is pleasant and quickly understood our issues. He also can explain technical issues in a way we could understand.
