Scott was excellent. Arrived on time, courteous and professional. He did a complete tune-up on my mower (came with the house so it was new to me) and gave me a quick tutorial on how to change the bag or mulch the lawn. Changed the oil, checked the filter, cleaned up the carburetor, and sharpened the blade. I will be using his services again.

I called Scott to help troubleshoot a problem with my mower. He called back later in the day and diagnosed the problem quickly. It was an easy fix that I would have never figured out on my own. He could have charged me to come out and I would’ve gladly paid for him to come out and fix the problem but instead he talked me through it step-by-step. It’s hard to find honest people like Scott in this day and time. I will use him for any and every problem that I have with my mower from here on out

Time was confirmed on Thursday for Saturday service. Arrived on time. Great blade sharpening. Changed oil & spark plugs and cleaned air filter. Great technician & great price. Used in the past & will use again.

Scott was the right guy, at the right time and the right price. He arrived on time (actually a little early which was perfect) and was very knowledgeable and professional. He repaired a gasoline leak on my push mower and then quickly diagnosed the problem with my riding mower and went to work making the repairs. After he got it running he sharped the blades. If that wasn't enough, he left both machines as clean as he found them. I feel like I have to two new mowers! I really can't say enough about Scott and the work he did. He's a real pleasure to do business with and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Scott was very professional, personable and punctual. Price was extremely reasonable for someone to come to your home. He schedules his appointments on Thursday evenings as he "makes his rounds" on Saturday. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!

I also had Scott do a full oil change and look at the deck height adjustment as well. Scott works on Saturdays only, so if you call earlier in the week you can get a time and out he will come. Quotes prices upfront and very reasonable. I had all the work done including he provided the oil filter and oil for $60. Very Fair. Save your money on $150 mobile mechanics and give Scott a call, he will always do our mower work if needed. Blade sharpening as well.

Perfectly. He arrived on time, looked at mower & told me I didn't really need to replace blade (saving some $ by returning blade I had bought) as it could be sharpened & still be good. Quick job & so much easier for me to have him come to the house. It would have been much more complicated & time consuming to take the mower somewhere to drop it off, leave it, pick it up again... Both scheduling process and work went very smoothly and my mower is purring again.

This was my fourth time hiring Scott Adams. As always, it was a great experience. He arrived on time, we chatted a bit while he set up his gear on the driveway in front of my garage, then I left him alone for the next hour and a half while he sharpened all my items. When done, he warned me to let my family members know that the kitchen knives were particularly sharp and to be careful. It's wonderful having such usable knives. Next time we'll do it in six months rather than wait a year.

I went with a different service called Serco and it was a very pleasant experience.

EXCELLENT. from the time I spoke with his wife who answered the phone and made the appointment to the service itself. Both Adam and his wife were prompt, professional and courteous. Lawnmower was serviced and the blade sharpened. I have already given his name and phone number to several friends. I will call Blade Doctor the next time the lawnmower gives up!

I'm writing this just after receiving service from Scott Adams, aka the Blade Doctor. The man is the epitome of honesty and professionalism. He returned my call promptly to set up an appointment, called me back mid-week when he said he would and shared what time he'd arrive at my house. He arrived on Saturday at the scheduled time and performed the maintenance. Now, I have a smooth-running lawn mower, and a go-to man I'd trust with my wallet out on the counter. Can't recommend him enough. The fact that he comes to your home is also appealing. Forget dealing with service repair shops. Call Scott.

Great service and excellent communication. Setting up the appointment was very easy and fast and the work performed was top-notch. I will definitely use again and have already passed contact information on to several of my neighbors.

I was looking for a tune-up for my ancient Craftsman riding lawnmower. Scott Adams, or the Blade Doctor, was the name that kept coming up from my neighbors. It's an owner-operated business with no subs. He was incredibly prompt, professional, courteous, and came to our house.  He sharpened the mower blades, changed the oil and filters, fixed the carburetor (which was about to fall out) and generally made sure the 18 year old mower was in prime working condition.  Best of all, it was only $65 (Sears usually charged us twice as much or more for the service). I'll definitely be using him again.  

Scott was very accommodating and did a great job. Was early to the appointment and even walked me through the issues with the mower as he worked on the mower. Trusted me to mail a check later as we had to leave before he was finished. Will use again.
