Terry's Lawn Care

Provider started lawn care 2 years ago. Came out, made an excellent sales pitch. Provided me written estimate and began work. Lawn crew up with tons of crabgrass. He had to kill the lawn off and start over. Finally got lawn to grow and in the fall he killed off the entire lawn again. Lawn has never recovered. When questioned about it he said he found grubs. Looking at receipts I paid for application of grubkill so not sure why it didn't work. Services became sparse. Weeks would go by between mowings. As lawn started to die off in spots, he would not treat it. When lawn became too bad he stopped coming out. I had to call him and ask him if he wanted to continue providing services. He comes by and we discuss treatment for lawn. He agrees to provide me an estimate for some work. I do not receive it. I text him and he asks if I will be home in the evening. I told him he could call me the next day. I never heard from him. It has been 2 weeks. Needless to say if it takes communication and decisions around lawn treatments, and if your lawn shows any signs of distress, this is not the person who you should entrust your business to. I have really tried to work with him because a friend recommended him, but her lawn requires little maintenance according to her.
The service I received gave me the impression that he was trying to take on work he isn't equipped to manage. Overall experience left a negaive impression with me. At a minimum, I would have appreciated him following up on phone calls and being honest about what services he could provide.

Poor quality, unresponsive, numerous excuses as to why work could never get done on time. Repeatedly broke promises made to us. Didn't pay the subcontractors he hired - we ended up having to pay them directly to come back and finish.

I called and e-mailed this company a couple of times. He did scheduled with me a walk thru my yard but he never came in and never returned my calls and e-mails again. Not recommended !

I thought they were excellent. I give 'em good marks all round. They are quite professional.

He is very knowledgable about his work.
