 + 1 moreI can honestly say that I wish I could have paid Carol more for the work she did on this project and how often can you say that!!? Carol delivered the finished house on time, on budget and magnificently completed. She sacrificed holidays and weekends to oversee contractors. She went far beyond my expectations. I hesitate to say how happy I am with her efforts only because I don't want to set a precedent for future clients to be so demanding. There were many nights she went home totally frustrated, but she never showed it to the client or the vendors.
Description of Work: I am a local Realtor dealing with mid to high end properties. I had a listing which had been beautifully renovated on the first floor, but the second floor was over 10 years old and didn't match the grandness of the property. The sellers were on a budget and Carol was able to creatively look at the space and recommend improvements that gave the home flow and pizazz. Carol was responsible for picking out materials, selecting vendors and contractors, managing the budget and overseeing the work. She completely redesigned the layout of the master bath and reworked the entire second floor. She handled the project as an overall manager, allowing the homeowner and me to continue with our day to day duties without having to project manage. There were many instances where Carol had to balance delicate interpersonal relationships with contractors and inconvenienced homeowners and she handled it all beautifully.

 + -1 moreCAROL WAS VERY HANDS ON, AND EVEN HELPED ME FINISH PAINTING MY CABINETS. SHE APPLIED A GLAZE TECHNIQUE HERSELF. SHE SELECTED EXCELLENT CONTRACTORS, AND STAYED VERY INVOLVED IN THE PROCESS UNTIL COMPLETION. ALL THE CONTRACTORS WERE PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, AND COURTEOUS. THEY ALWAYS CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES, VERY WELL.
Description of Work: CAROL WAS THE DESIGNER THAT OVER DESIGNED THE BATHROOM, CHOSE THE CONTRACTORS, AND MANAGED THE RENOVATION. THE WORK INCLUDED TILING THE FLOOR AND SHOWER, INSTALLATION OF NEW PLUMBING FIXTURES, INSTALLATION OF A GRANITE COUNTER TOP, AND PAINTING MY CABINETS.
