I can't imagine finding a better contractor (Kam) with a better group of employees! The quality of work was fabulous and the price was very fair. They felt like family by the time they were finished & I decided that Kam is one of the finest people I've met! (I was able to learn a little about him personally & he's the type of person that really makes the world a better place!) They did several small repairs that were not planned for free. I highly recommend them! ?????

Kam and his crew installed helical anchors to address the settling issues, replaced the rotted sills and rebuilt the short wall over that area. He also addressed the water issues that contributed to these problems by having his guys dig some french drains, removed foundation plantings that were too close to the house & other bushes that were more a case of unsightliness than anything else & fixed a leak on garage roof as well. He graciously helped us with a couple of other problems that popped up that were not part of the scope of work. Kam, his son-in-law John and their small but pleasant crew were a pleasure to work with.

I had a pre-sale home inspection which discovered several large problems.  My realtor recommended using Kam Snider for the repairs.  He installed a ridge beam in the ceiling/roof system of my family room along with headers over doors and concrete footers under the doors.  He also repaired damages listed above which were in the crawlspace.  These repairs were done very professionally.  Communication was excellent from start to finish.  His price was very competitive.  He went above and beyond to provide good service.  I highly recommend this company.

Overall, I'd say things went great. He saved us a substantial amount of money as quoted by larger companies. We'd had the home inspected prior to listing it and there were several issues with the foundation. After the house went under contract and the home buyers had it inspected, there were zero issues with the foundation. That's exactly what we wanted, so we were very satisfied.

It went very well, Kam, and his crew were easy going, honest, hard working. They were there for several weeks and did an excellent job working off of engineering prints. Their expertise is in foundation repair, but have the abilities to do more. A flat foundation makes the rest of the job go so much better and they are capable of doing the work right.

Kam is a very honest, sincere person who delivers on what he promises. I am apprehensive at first when hiring a contractor since I have had a bad experience in the past. However, despite my constant questioning etc. Kam was very patient in explaining exactly what he was going to do and assured me that the work indeed would solve my problem. His crew chief was also very nice and dependable. They came on time and cleaned up after themselves when the job was done. I would highly recommend him!

They were EXCELLENT! Kam took the time to continuously talk with us througout all of our repairs and make sure we understood what him and his crew were doing. They started and finished when they said they would. Kam and his crew were very professional and hardworking. Kam stands behind his work and was willing to go above and beyond the scope to make sure the entire job was done right. I highly recommend them to anyone needing any type of structural repair work completed.

Kam Snider was very responsive to our initial call and delivered an estimate immediately after his site visit. Work was accomplished in slightly less than three work days. Other than expected noise from the crawl space, there was no disruption inside the house. Kam and his crew also responded to our question about the results with a quick follow up visit for some minor adjustment.

First off I am picky. Kam Snider, his partner Manuel and their friendly crew were great through out the entire process. Kam communicated daily with us as to what they did and what to expect the next day. They were willing to do things right even if it meant going back and changing something. We hired him on a per diem basis plus materials which could be risky, because you can get taken advantage of in this type of scenario. But they didn't whatsoever, worked hard, cleaned up every day, and were ALWAYS wanting to do the right thing. The other trades that came in complimented them on the work they had done. Highly recommend them.

Kam came out, gave me a verbal estimate and then called a month or so later to schedule the work. He has a crew of about 4 or 5 people, and he said he generally limits himself to this type of repair work. Kam met with me at the beginning and the end of the project, but Manuel (his partner/foreman) and the other workers were on their own the rest of the time. All of the workers cleaned up each evening after themselves, swept the walkways, etc. It seemed like miserable work but they were all pleasant and Manuel answered any questions I had. My house seems quite sturdy now and they left the basement area cleaner than they found it. They ended up doing more work than was agreed upon, I got the impression they wanted to do a thorough job and not overlook anything that needed fixing (which is impressive). They accidentally clipped an electrical wire, which they replaced. I had an electrician check their work after they left and he said that their repairs were done correctly.

The Company was excellent. They arrived when they said they would, very professional and polite and they kept a clean job site. They kept us updated as to the progress of the work and let us know exactly what to expect as to their arrival and departure over the 3 days they worked under the house. Once the work was complete under the house they made sure all the doors in the house were opening and closing properly, an indication that the foundation was back to where is needed to be. Some settling did occur over a 2 month period after the work was complete. However, all I had to do was make one call to Cam and the team was back out the next week to remedy the problem. Very polite and did not charge extra for additional cracks that were discovered in the foundation. I highly recommend.

We had a favorable experience with some caveats. First the good. Kam was nice and professional, and we felt safe with him working under the house. He took time on two occasions to get into the crawl space with us and show us the needed repairs and then how everything had been fixed. Now onto the not so good. Other than the initial consultation and the permit process, the work was done by his subs who got insulation all over the yard and also left our hose on overnight (during a drought). Also, it was difficult to get Kam to follow through on small items. One example is a shower drain issue that he pointed out and suggested repairing. It was a quick fix but required many reminders before he completed it. Then duct work and quickcrete sat on the side of our house for 3 weeks. It took a few phone calls to remove it. Overall, quality work was completed at a fair price. I would recommend Steel Creek for substructure repairs; you may need to make a few phone calls to keep things on track.

Kam was recommended by the structural engineer who evaluated our home as the "only person we recommend to do this work." Kam proved to be warm, professional, and a man of his word. The job ended up being more involved than he anticipated, but he stuck to the estimate he gave me. His crew stayed past sundown both days to make sure everything was done properly. We have more work to do and will definitely be calling Kam again.
