The work went extremely well. The company did exactly what they said they would do at the price they quoted. The workers installed a radiant barrier using Fi-Foil, added blown in insulation and installed an insulated zip cover over the pull down steps access. During the past months, temperatures have been well into the nineties but the temperature of the attic has remained significantly below temps which were into the 120s in past years. The A/C air handler works in a lower temperature environment and the upstairs bedrooms are cooler than in past summers. I haven't done a quantitative check on electric bills but have noticed that the A/C does not run nearly as often as in summers past even though the temperatures have been higher outside. As far as the company's response, I contacted them on a Monday, the salesman showed up the following day, and the installers installed on Friday. WOW, what a response! I couldn't be more pleased with Standard Insulating Company!

He was refreshingly honest and told me my insulation was okay and didn't need to be replaced despite another company trying to sell me on an insulation job.  He was also very helpful as we discussed possible issues and solutions.

Excellent. Paul (at the office) and the crew were extremely polite and welcoming to the business. I was given 100% attention and accommodated for despite changes to schedule due to weather, etc. Special care was taken by the crew to leave room for new HVAC duct work around the subfloor which was very helpful for the HVAC professionals to work around. Very professional and courteous staff. If highly recommend them.

At this time I have not had the work done. The sales rep was very easy to work with.

When we closed on our home in November of this year, one of the first things we wanted to take care of was replacing the old insulation that was original to our home built in 1984.  With a HVAC system that is 16 years old and original windows, we needed all of the help we could get.  
Within a few days of contacting Standard, a team was sent to our home to remove the existing insulation.  While being provided the option to have new insulation added the same day, we decided to use this opportunity to install new bathroom vents and wire the second floor of the home with Cat 5 and install an attic OTA antenna.  The vents were done by another Angies List company (awesome as well) and I am happy we did it in this order as it made that install much easier.  
The removal team arrived at my home a few minutes early and after introducing themselves, the first thing they did was lay out plastic to both my second floor and utility room access points to ensure no dirt was tracked in my home.  After they were done they spent a good amount of time cleaning up the site as well.
Just this last week another team was sent to blow in the insulation.  Again, they arrived early and went right to work laying down plastic and prepping the site.  In about 2 hours they had the job completed and again swept and vacuumed all areas of my home they were in, including my entire second floor landing and every stair.  Which I thought was an exceptional sign of caring about the job site..my home.  Also to note, we decided to upgrade and get an attic stair cover as our pull down stairs have a small landing for storage and are happy we did.  This removed a pretty big draft at the top of the stairs.  
In just the week since the job the biggest thing we have noticed is the stability of temperature in our entire home.  We have just a single zone HVAC system on our 2,300 s/f house so there was a lot of fluctuation previously.  Now, even with the up and down weather the last week the temperature is consistent and we're putting less stress on our HVAC system.  Now, not only am I going to be saving on my heat and air but I am confident I am going to extend the life of my HVAC system due to not taxing it as much.  
The work is well worth the price.
