SPOTLESS, INC in Charlotte, North Carolina is a provider of Independent Professional Housekeepers. We believe that housecleaning is personal so we like to think of ourselves as matchmakers. We work to match Housekeepers with individuals. We usually send one Housekeeper to a home. However, if the size of the home and the type of project requires it, we will send more than one housekeeper. Our goal is to simplify your life by providing a detailed, customized housecleaning experience performed by an experienced, respectful, and reliable housekeeper. You will always have the same housekeeper. We provide maid service to homes throughout the Charlotte, North Carolina area. This area includes Ft Mill, Tega Cay, Clover, Lake Wylie, Pineville, Indian Land, and Sun City, Indian Trail. Our Special Projects Team takes care of Deep Clean/Spring Cleaning and Move - In/Move - Out Projects. Spotless has been awarded the Angie’s List prestigious Super Service Award for the years 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 for consistently delivering a high level of customer service. The so-called “comprehensive move-in cleaning” was merely a superficial wipe down. After the staff left, I spent countless hours re-cleaning our kitchen, every bathroom, and several other rooms that were either cleaned haphazardly or left completely untouched. Some examples: cobwebs found in the dining room and stairwell, layers of dust on the bathroom mirrors, multiple bathroom vanity drawers were not cleaned (one drawer had a thick layer of hair shavings in it!), dirt and food crumbs left in kitchen drawers, baseboards were dusty/dirty, nearly every window blind covered in a layer of dust, a toilet bottom covered in dust, etc. I could list many other examples, but why waste more of my time? It is not only extremely upsetting, but completely unacceptable to pay an exorbitant fee for the advertised move-in cleaning service and then have to re-do the thorough house cleaning myself when I’m supposed to be moving into my new home. When I spoke to the owner Sheila about my concerns, she not only acknowledged they just spent 50% of the expected time cleaning the house (4 hours instead of 8), but accused me of being untruthful and vehemently defended her incompetent staff. Do not use this company if you want a clean house and decent customer service.

"I do not remember our communication the way you do. I remember saying they are an excellent cleaning team. We have received many 5 star reviews because of their excellent service. I talked about their reputation, not what happened at your home. I could not defend what you say you experienced. In addition to the move-in service, you purchased the cleaning of the garage and our disinfection service. All of those services were bundled into that price. Finally, I distinctly remember asking you what Spotless can do to make you whole. You said you don't know. I offered to reimburse you $135 and explained to you that we normally don't do that, but will do so in this instance since this was a move-in clean. You graciously accepted."

Spotless has always done a great job at cleaning our home from top to bottom! We have the same person come to clean each time (consistency is key for a thorough job) and she takes pride in cleaning everything really well.

They did a good job upstairs and but I felt like they rushed downstairs. The formal living area and foyer still had lot of dirt/dust and they hurried out before vaccuming or dusting well, just mopped few areas here. Would like them to be a bit more thorough with our downstairs next time.

Awesome. I highly recommend. Service arrived on time and completely cleaned kitchen, 3 bathrooms, mopped, vacuumed carpets, even vacuumed around cluttered basement, dusted, and cleaned walls & baseboards, all within 4 hours. I was impressed. Provider was Crystal and I will ask for her next time. To be honest, I was embarrassed for anyone to see my house before (after years of neglect) but it looks great now. Even the mirrors in the master bath were spotless & crystal clean which I only noticed the next morning. Very thorough. Thank you Crystal.

Always Great. Very reasonably priced too. True to their name, when I come home on the day they have visited for a cleaning, my place is SPOTLESS. and they are very accomodating too. Whenever I had to change my appointment or make a special cleaning request, I have never been turned down or been disappointed, Sheila and her people are top notch!

The person that came to my house had to do the entire house by herself and she was absolutely wonderful. She was professional, cheerful, communicated well and paid attention to detail which was exactly what I needed! The problem was that her helper didn’t show up and therefore my cleaner was 3 hours late because she was working alone which really interfered with my schedule. I was completely satisfied with the housecleaning, but not happy with the company. They should have Back-up to keep things on schedule.
