It went very well. Installers knew exactly what they were doing.they did a great job and cleaned out gutters as they went.Very pleased with our sales person Will.

We had an original picture window that was leaking badly and needed to be replaced. Southern Home Services inspected the old window installation and gave us two different styles to choose from. We are very impressed with the quality of the window and the workmanship. The new picture window looks great, and the installation went very smooth. We will certainly reach out to SHS as future needs arise.

They are very helpful, professional, punctual, and left no mess. Will definitely call them when we need a new roof.

They worked so hard & did such a good job with painting & fixing the outside that I had them install a new garage door for me. I found they could do most anything. I was very impressed with them. I will call them again. They also checked my gutters & repaired some wood

The project went great. The price was very reasonable, the product is a higher quality than the other contractors we interviewed. On the date of the project, SHS’ crew showed up on time, did the entire scope of the project in 1 day and by 4:30 they were pulling out of my driveway. Roofing removal is an incredibly messy job and their cleanup was spectacular! In the week after the new roof was installed, I had to rake leaves around the house and the amount of debris I found would not fill up a sandwich bag. I was very inpressed and that is not an easy thing to do. Rarely do I complete reviews because I am so often disappointed but in this case I was so impressed I had to!

Installation was wonder full. Great windows, and Eddie and his partner were extremely careful and thorough with the installation. they laid down drop cloths, and made sure everything was perfect. Fantastic job!!!!!! A++

Southern Home Services installed 25 new windows in my home. The project went perfectly from the Project Consultant to the Installation. I am very pleased and would not hesitate to refer this company to anyone needing their services.

Let's face it, as consumers we hire roofers even less than we purchase a new car. And that puts us at a serious disadvantage. My experience with SHS has been absolutely SMOOTH. From the sales experience, explaining roofing and gutter options, demolition, installation, and clean up everything went as advertised. I have a 2400 sq ft ranch home, with about 40 squares of roofing, and the roof is fairly steep. To me it was no small job. SHS made it look easy. I worked with Rob Drumm in sales; but even after signing the contract, Rob continued to respond to my numerous questions and concerns. Anytime I had a question, and there were several, Robb always answered my questions in a professional manner that assured me I had hired the right company. SHS was not the lowest cost bidder. We were looking for best VALUE, and feel they delivered on every check box. Some of the highlights of what we believed were value-adds... The crew was on time and completed in the estimated time. The demolition phase was somewhat messy, but we were warned and it was not as bad as I expected. A drip edge was installed on the roof perimiter to prevent leaves and tree seeds from getting between the gutter and the wood fascia they are attached to. They double-booted the vent pipes... This extra layer of protection adds life to the rubber pipe collars. We had standard size gutters installed but commercial sized downspouts and outlets. This will reduce the likely hood of clogging. One of the big factors we used to select SHS was their established working relationship with our paint company, CertaPro painters of South Charlotte. Once the roof was completed and the old gutters were dropped, the painting crew came in and replaced rotten wood boards behind the gutters and painted the entire home. Once the painting was complete SHS sent in their crew to hang the gutters. As the homeowner I never had to coordinate the activity between the two service companies. In general, everyone involved with the project was a delight to work with and our 19 year old home now looks like new, at least on the exterior. I don't plan to outlive this roof, but if something does pop up, I would not hesitate to call Rob at SHS for any maintenance or repairs.

Replacing the flashing, and establishing the correct clearance at the bottom of the siding and the vertical trim, was not an easy job. The original builder didn't do it correctly, resulting in swelling of the vertical pieces where they sat in water. Southern Home Services had to remove the affected pieces, remove and replace the flashing, and replace the swollen vertical pieces. They did this very well.

The job was quoted and performed quickly and efficiently. The repairs have performed perfectly.

Southern Home Services exceeded my expectations throughout every step of the process. My sales rep Christian answered all of my questions thoroughly and explained the entire process. When construction started, Travis the Project Manager, took care of all of the details and kept me in the loop at all times. My house looks brand new again and I could not be happier with the end result. Thank you SHS!

Very well. They did an excellent job. It was not the cheapest bid I received, but it was the most comprehensive (well thought out) service, with the best products, carefully installed. They cut the flashing into the mortar (instead of just gluing it), installed drip edge at all roof edges, installed ice and water shield near dormers and chimneys. Installed James Hardie Plank for new fascia (won't ever rot). All products used were top notch, 50 year roof, synthetic underlayment, excellent maufacturer approved fasteners, all hand nailed (not nail-guns), even the power vent was made by the roof manufacturer. (I understand that this strict compliance is important to assure that the manufacturer honors its guarantees as to life expectancy). In short, I paid more for this than other contractors' bids, but it was an excellent job, well done, with very professional people. We had some debris that landed on our neighbor's drive way that they missed, but when I called them about it, they came right out, cleaned it up, and even checked with my neighbor to make sure that they were happy. What more could you ask? Really great contractors.

They were responsive, they came on time, they gave good samples, and everything was good. The product was good and the color choices were good.

From my first call to SHS to completion of the project, Shawn was professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and reliable. After much research and talking to several "window" companies, I knew what brand of windows I preferred and SHS was one of two contractors in Charlotte that sold them. You will not regret calling SHS!

They quickly diagnosed the source of the leak and fixed it a few days later when they could allocate a workman. To ensure that no leaking occurred before they returned to make the repair, they put plastic over the leak source. When they returned to do the work, they did an outstanding job. We will definitely plan to use them again whenever there is a need.
