1) they did not know how to build scapling and they had to ask my parents neighbor how to do (the neighbor is a former painter)
2) On the 2nd day on the job one of the guys Andrew employeed drank on lunch and proceeded to fall off a ladder in their two story foyer. Fortunaly he was not injured. I do not makje this acqusation lightly but I am honest forthright. I went out to look at at the bed of his truck and their were empty beer cans out there.
3) Over promoised and grossly underdelivered. Andrew made claims and promises he could not keep. My folks were promised that he knew how to work with Harde Plank and they most assuredly did not. My parents bought the siding at several construction auctions to save some money on the remodel. Andrew et al destroyed most of the Harde board siding costing my parents more money.
4) Worked maybe 3 hours a day - biggest slackers I have ever seen
This was such a crap job. Based on other reviews Andrew is a great painter - we did not see a positive thing out of this. My father is the most laid back pious man you will meet; Andrew made him loose his temper. This does not happen unless you are one of his kids, even then it takes a whole heck of a lot. I would never use this company. Even for free.

"Geez, Why am I just now seeing this? This is completely inaccurate. This was a true nightmare project. Over 15 color samples used, the customers grown children lived and the home and let the large dogs go to the bathroom where we were working, we had missing tools, customer promised to have certain materials in full/ didn't happen, my guy fell off a ladder because the large dogs bulldozed it, then after the daughter offered my guy prescription medication and a liquor drink which he turned down. Short of the long is we were scammed. After the wife continually attempted to throw add in on the project we requested to move along. I had over 15 guys on the project and was not paid anything. The customer previously was going with another contractor who for some reason did not start. I later found out that the client pulled money from their equity in the home and was on a hard timeline to have the project completed. With over 15 years in business this was the biggest nightmare by far we ever encountered. I have plenty of my guys that can attest to this."

Andrew and his guys are by far the best painters that I have ever used. I have had Andrew do about a 6 jobs for me, including the entire interior and exterior of my house. All of his guys are very professional, they pay attention to detail and are a pleasure to have around while they work. I have recommended Andrew to countless friends and neighbors and have always gotten calls from them telling me how pleased they were with the recommendation! I have never been disappointed with their work and I feel confident that you will not be either!

Excellent job as always. Andrew Watts has done all the painting since we purchased our Lake Norman townhouse 5 years ago. I trust him and his painters so completely that I haven't even gotten other estimates for the past few projects. Painting this brick fireplace was a big decision for me--I'm generally not a fan of painting brick, but the fireplace was a real presence in the room--about 5 feet across and extending to the top of a 25 ft. catherdal ceiling and the brick was drab and dirty. Rudy, the painter doing the work, was outstanding--he told me he "liked to paint" and you could see that he enjoyed his work and took pride in the transformation of the look of the room. He also liked my dogs--a big plus! We are delighted with the results.

I contacted Andrew and though his quote was slightly higher than the others, I felt comfortable with him and his knoledge on home painting. The bid was written in detail and included materials. His crew with Manny performed like true professionals. All prep work was through, lines were sharp and clean up completed daily. When the project was completed, Andrew came out and performed a walk through to insure company standards. For all of your help in getting my home to the way it should be, I say Thank You! With out question your guys are second to no one. $8769.31 ceilings, walls, trim, cabinets, scraped popcorn ceiling in bath along with removing wall paper

I am extremely pleased with their work. Andrew responded promptly to my request for a bid and he helped me find ways to save money on the job. I had a problem deciding on what colors to use and John helped me pick a great color scheme for my home. He even matched the wall color in the master bedroom with one of the colors in my comforter. The crew came out promptly every day and worked together extremely well. They cleaned up every day prior to leaving and, when the job was finished they left my home cleaner that it was when they arrived! I have 2 pieces of siding on the outside of the house that were damaged by my gardener and Andrew gave me a very reasonable bid to fix it as well. I highly recommend Southeastern Paint Care to anyone who needs their home painted.

Southeastern Paint Care did an excellent job. Andrew, the owner, returns calls promptly, uses quality paints and includes all possibilities in his estimate. He checks in daily to check on the job and performs a final walk through after the work is completed. His crew is prompt, hardworking and trustworthy. John and Julio updated us on the work and cleaned up with no problems. They repaired a damaged dry wall area and two door frames-they look like new. We asked Andrew to paint some additional areas which he did at a reasonable price. I have used this company before and am always pleased with the results. My good friend has also used them for interior painting with positive results. For a quality paint job that makes the house look brand new at a reasonable price you can't go wrong with this company.

The company has done some work for me before, and I didn't have a lot of time for a visit for an estimate, so Andrew gave me a rough estimate over the phone. They showed up right on time and completed the work in a day, while I was at work. Again, John, the lead painter, was very careful with my things, and even tried to make friends with my cat, who is a true "scaredy cat" and hid in the bed covers all day.

John is a quiet, nice and professional man and takes care in his work. Andrew Watts also was timely, professional and one of a kind. This is the second time we have used this company and we will continue using them. I first decided to hire Southeastern Paint Care because I was impressed with Andrew Watts himself. He was very earnest about doing a good job, and I believed him. I later looked up the co. on Angie's List, and they didn't have a lot of ratings, but all were excellent. He put his best crew on my inside job, and they proved to be very careful. I thought I might have to delay the start of the job so that I could take down blinds, pictures, etc., but he said they would prefer to do that. John and his wife, who were the paint crew, even put everything back into its correct place, including every picture and all of the furniture. The paint job looks great, including my dark navy room which they were reluctant to do, and which took a primer and 3 coats. They didn't prefer my choice of paint, but worked with my preferences. I highly recommend this company for an inside paint job which you want to be done with care. They did what they promised, and on time, too.

Andrew was a wonderful man to work with. He was polite, punctual and a pleasure to work with. His crew did a superb job on the entire area and we are more then pleased with their work. They were quick to get the job done and Andrew came out when it was complete to give it a final inspection and make sure we were happy with the job. I will definitely have this company paint again and would highly recommend them to anyone. It is nice to know their are honest and hard working people out there!

THESE GUYS WERE GREAT. EVERY ASPECT OF THE JOB WAS DONE WELL AND THE PAINTERS WERE FRIENDLY AND NICE TO HAVE AROUND. THEIR CRAFTSMANSHIP WAS EXCELLENT AND THE HOUSE LOOKS VERY ELEGANT.

SOUTHEASTERN PAINT CARE WAS EXCELLENT FROM OUR VERY FIRST CONTACT WITH THEM. THEY WERE POLITE, ON TIME, AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE ABLE TO FIT US INTO THEIR SCHEDULE QUICKLY AND THE JOB WAS COMPLETE WITHIN THEIR ESTIMATED TIME FRAME. WHEN THE WORK WAS DONE, THE OWNER CAME OUT TO MAKE SURE WE WERE COMPLETELY SATISFIED. THERE WAS ONE AREA THAT WAS NOT DONE TO OUR SATISFACTION AND THE PAINTER CAME OUT THAT EVENING TO FIX IT. I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK AND I WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM FOR MY NEXT PAINT JOB.
