"While we sympathize with the problem [Member Names Removed], the buyers, are having our team did what we could to encourage them to have inspections as is our policy and practice. Our team always recommends home inspections and also provided the buyers, Question and Answers on Home Inspections from the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. Although they were advised numerous times to engage a home inspector, Buyers declined inspections three times in writing. They toured the home five times prior to closing in the Spring – for one visit their personal friend home inspector was a no-show. After their friend was a no show, their agent again asked them if she could arrange to have a home inspector and they again declined. We have spoked with the buyers many times and offered suggestions on how to proceed. We led them in the right decision but they made their own decisions."
