Shelfgenie was very prompt in its response to my issues. Russ, the poor installer, took some heat for things that were not his fault. Splintering shelving and uneven bottoms were manufacturing issues, not installation issues. Russ was as sweet as could be and stayed to fix everything I asked for, while I had to rush my mom to the ER. He even moved a spice shelf for me, which was supposed to be installed close underneath the shelf above. He did not know this (it should have been in the specs), and I had not remembered that Davis and I talked about it, but my daughter did remember. All in all, Russ did a great job.

Not as well as I had hoped, based on other reviews I saw. Two of my cabinets have doors that no longer close flush to the cabinet and it's easy to see why. The sliders are too long for the cabinet and the installer had to jerry-rig the doors so they would close. In doing so, he cracked one of the cabinet frames and you can see into the cabinet. We are missing one shelf that Davis and I discussed installing. Some of the sliders installed in the pantry have what seem to be manufacturer defects - bottom wood is splintering and the bottoms of most of the sliders look wavy or dented. I waited 8 weeks for this and paid over $6,000.00. I was going to stop payment on the second check I issued, after we got a close look at what was going on, but Davis has assured me that everything will be fixed to my satisfaction. I don't know how they are going to handle the manufacturer defects. If I have to wait another 8 weeks, I'll be even more upset than I am now. In the meantime, I don't have a working kitchen. I can't unpack any of my things until they make this right.

A representative came to our home and showed us their products. They did not pressure us into buying anything. We chose the products that best fit our needs. We were very impressed with the quality of their products. The installers were very professional and skilled. We are very satisfied with the finished product and their service.

Bought the Angie's List deal to get 500.00USD worth of service at a discount price as part of a big deal. Originally spoke with Brian from ShelfGenie. He's basically owns the Charlotte franchise. Very good guy. Turned up on time, very polite and with a great attention to detail. I showed him what was (to be fair) a quite modest job, but he spent time explaining my options and gave the job a full assessment. He measured up and provided a timeline when I could expect his carpenter/installer to visit. On that date, I met with a ShelfGenie engineer who worked very quickly and efficiently to do the install. Great work. Visitors to my kitchen all ask about the particular cupboard as it really is a good use of a small space. Considering further work this coming Summer.

The price of the shelving was astronomical. There were no additional charges. The estimate was free and so we basically didn't even use the money that we purchased the big deal for. We didn't get the shelving. They came out a couple of weeks after I purchased the big deal. I liked the concept of it. I just really didn't think that the finished product was worth 3 grand because all of the wood that is unfinished looks not finished. It was like cling wood that was being painted, that sort of thing. I just didn't think that it wasn't worth the amount of money that they were asking, not even near it. He was nice enough and went through all of the options and whatever and gave me a drawn diagram of what he would suggest for our pantry.

Their whole presentation was great and wonderful. Their customer service was awesome. They explained it well too and they had some great ideas. Their quality and everything seemed to be on target, but we felt like it was too experience for us and for what we were looking for.

It was fine. There were no problems. There were additional charges beyond the big deal amount. We did some upgrades. So, we had to pay out of pocket for that obviously. But everything was good. I probably paid another $300. It was very pricey. It's just a good thing for your cabinets. There are other products out there that are obviously cheaper but you get what you pay for. I'll definitely recommend it.

I was not satisfied with the placement of the draws with the first installation, so they came back to fix them. They were very professional and attentive.

He was very professional, very punctual. Good presentation, but it was just going to be too expensive.

This was an Angie's Big Deal promotion. Once I purchased it, the provider was in contact with me quickly. He came to the house and gave me an estimate for doing my lower cabinets taking into account the Big Deal promo. After accepting his offer, he placed the order. When the order came in he contacted me and scheduled the installation. The installers were on-time and very professional. The installation went very well. Through all of this, the provide kept me up-to-date. Additionally, both he and the installers were very good at explaining how things worked and how to care for my new shelves. I would use them again.

We are very glad we went with Shelf Genie. Our pullouts are fantastic and make getting things out of lower cabinets so much easier. Admittedly they are a bit pricey. Our AARP discount helped. But we would do it again because of the excellent quality and great service. The Sales Consultant brought us lots of good ideas on what type of pullouts to get. We especially like the one that holds trays and cutting boards. The pullouts with risers are great under the sinks. The installer who both measured our cabinets and later put in the pullouts was professional, personable, and did good work. We highly recommend Shelf Genie.

It was my mistake to order this service, but I was very pleased that Brian Sacco responded promptly to my request. Usually it is not easy to get connected with the company after placing an order.

I had Shelf Genie drawers in my previous house & they were a great selling point. Moving to Charlotte, even knowing this is just a 2 year stay for us, I had Shelf Genie install again within a month of moving in. I was happy with the professionalism of all who worked with me & I LOVE they are made in the USA. When we move again I will be calling Shelf Genie for another installation, can't imagine ever having a kitchen without them, it's a pleasure to open my cabinets to beautifully organized drawers to suite my cooking needs.

Miscommunication between sales and installers initially. He showed up on time when we scheduled the final install, did nice work installing systems. Did not clean up after installation (I was assured this would occur.) Tried to reach the sales rep day of installation. Still have not heard back from her. No calls from anyone after installation to see if we were satisfied, etc. It wasn't that they were bad. I just don't believe we'd use them again.

I love my glideouts, they function perfectly and make storing and accessing everyday items easy.

Installed pull out shelves in pantry

Upon my inquiry, Brian promptly scheduled an appointment at our house and arrived on time. We had just moved into a house and were struggling to figure out how to store all our kitchen and pantry items in the new space. Brian really took the time to listen and look carefully at the space. He asked to see all the items we used regularly and or needed to figure out "homes" for and we went through "using" them to make sure things were in good spots. He then came up with a unique design for our pantry with 6 pull out drawers of varying sizes with shelves on the sides which more than doubled our space! We also installed 2 large pull out shelves above the washer/dryer and then had two more regular shelves added above. The installer Bob did a great job of custom building the shelves and working with us to get the pull-outs configured how we wanted them based on OUR things. Bob is a very experienced cabinet installer and can help you in many ways. He cares about the quality of his work. Bob promptly answered my texts/calls. Overall, I highly recommend. Everything from inquiry to follow up has been professional.

Everything went as expected and better than expected. A threshold was keeping the pantry door from opening to its full capacity. The threshold was removed, the door trimmed and the threshold was reinstalled without additional charge. This allowed for wider pantry shelves to be installed. All very professionally done.

Everything was great about them. I had some roll outs put in and then I had them changed some of the glides in the drawer. A few of the older ones were rusty and the new ones installed allowed the entire drawer pull out. They did this in my kitchen and some in my master bathroom. One guy came out to do that service and it took him about a day. He did come back the next week or two for about a couple more hours doing some other work. The owner came out and talked to us. He was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions and gave us some good feedback and also gave us a quote. We were pleased with him. Then we very happy with the installer as well, who came out and measured and did the installed work. He did everything we asked and cleaned up nicely. They were both polite, professional and nice gentleman. They called to let us know if they were going to be a little late or on if they were going to be on-time; they were both punctual. My wife and I have been very pleased with the new rollouts and glides.

Excellent quality, but too expensive.

Everything went well. They were timely in responding to my initial call. They worked with me in my home for a good hour and helped me decide on what would be worth doing, took lots of measurements, and gave me some prices to mull over. I decided to only do half the job (priced 4 cabinets) because it was a bit pricey. I got the higher (4" tall?) shelves in one double cabinet that had a divider. They cut the divider, attached it to one of the doors, and made access to the cabinet a lot easier. So now there are two 48" long drawers. The other cabinet is a singe size (24"?) and I got the lower sided shelves. The installer was quick and professional. My only problem with the shelves is, while my stuff is more accessible, I had to remove things from the cabinets because they no longer fit. This is because the shelving takes inches of the width of your usable space. I guess I needed to purge the cabinets of some things anyway, but that was a little disappointing. So keep this in mind if your cabinets are full to the edges!

I had a very good experience with them. They were right on time. They came in and looked at what I wanted done and gave me an estimate. They ordered and installed everything. I was very pleased with their services. They explained in detail what needs to be done and why some other options might not work. They were very creative.

The experience was excellent overall! The product is of high-quality and very well-made. They’re extremely deliberate in their measuring and that everything is going to work with everything in your kitchen. For example, making sure that everything under the sink will fit with the existing faucet. They were also extremely professional and easy to work with. We’re very pleased with the work and the shelves! I’d recommend them to anybody!
