They are experts at what they do. Our doors were warped and letting in air only after a few years (prior owners purchased). Shed Brand came out to evaluate the door and gave options to repair or replace. We decided to replace. They took time to explain the many choices: wood, glass, hardware, etc. We fully redesigned the doors and we LOVE the finished product. They are very responsive, however it is not a quick process. We will continue to use them for any maintenance and other doors/windows.

Promised delivery was 7 to 10 days.  Actual delivery was 2+ weeks.  Unbelievably, the two man team sent to reinstall the door admitted they had never before installed sidelights or hung a door.  The door jamb and frame was damaged during their unsuccessful attempt to hang the door.  After 3+ hours the door was left in the  garage, the entryway re-boarded, and a more qualified installer was sent the following day to complete the job.
Customer service was deplorable.  No apologies were ever offered for the delays, untrained installers, or damage to the door during the first installation attempt.  Calls were often not returned and on one occasion they intentionally hung up on my wife when she called to confirm when the installer would be arriving.

I learned about the studio even before I moved from Colorado to Charlotte. I knew I wanted to add some leaded glass to a window in my house so I researched studios in Charlotte and Shed Brand was by far the most impressive.

The process was slower than I had hoped for but it was WELL WORTH the wait! They were great about keeping me up to date about the progress of my project and the end result is stunning! They were so helpful in suggesting the type of glass and where it all would look best. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I also took a class in (very) basic leaded glass design and it was fascinating. Shaylor, Natalie and their staff are true artists! Thank you!!!

My experience with them was very good. The doors they did are beautiful. The job went very well.

It took 12 weeks to get the framed panels and then the frames were damaged; paint scraped and marked. When collecting the framed panels, we noted the damage and less than professional work. The owner said, and quot;leave it here for a few more days and we will fix it.and quot; Our answer was do it now and we will wait. He could not do it and forgave the 50% balance remaining is we would take the framed panels and leave.

Originally planned to have them cut the glass and I would install, but
the installation cost was only a bit more than the glass itself and the
installer took the time to explain the process they would use in house
versus the tools that would be available to me through home improvement
store means, and the extra cost to install was well worth the time
savings and added security. The only problem I had was that someone left
the shop early on a holiday weekend after I had called in (and talked
to a different employee) to find out if they would be open normal hours.
When I did make it in, everyone was helpful and took as much time as I
needed to explain the many, many options available. They asked about the rest of the kitchen, the overall look and feel of the kitchen and made some recommendations for glass in different price ranges. Never a hard sell, always interested in what my financial limitations were and what my dreams were for the space. An absolute joy to work with and I would use them again. I've been using the doors for nearly a year and a half and love looking at them and I get compliments every time someone visits my home for the first time. Most of the new elements of the kitchen are IKEA to fit in with a 50's ranch foundation, but the glass doors on the upper cabinets give the room it's personality.

Shed Brand came to the rescue after my dog lunged at one of our front door sidelights, shattering the glass. They came that day to remove the broken pieces and seal the space with plywood, and then worked with me on a new, prettier leaded glass design to replace both sidelights. I was pleased with their design ideas and speed in completing my job. The price was reasonable as well.

They were extremely fair. They had quoted $250 but when they actually worked, they charged $150. I would use them in the future.

I had frames built by a friend who is a carpenter and I stained them myself. The installation fee was so minimal for having them do the work versus me because they had all the right tools to do it. They did a fabulous job. It is a little mom and pop operation. It is really good to call first because I went there on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend and they had left a little early. Their hours are not the typical 9-5 hours so it is best to call before going there. I called and left a couple of messages and they called me back that Monday morning. I told them when I was going to come down and they made sure that somebody was there. It was actually done in 8 hours but it was 48 hours turn around because they were long piece of glass and they wanted to have time to let the silicone sealant set so the glass didn't pop out. I would absolutely use them in the future. My only complaint was that they should have posted a note stating that they were closing early for the holiday weekend.

They used different types of glass for the job. The work is really neat. We could tell them what kind of glasses we liked. They did a fabulous job. Their price was the most reasonable. They once came out on a Saturday. They were very accommodating with the timing and scheduling. They were very easy to work with. We have also bought a mirror from them.

I had been to several glass replacement shops looking for seedy glass to replace a broken pane on our outdoor lamp post. I was referred to Shed-Brand Studio. I couldn't believe they actually had exactly what I needed. I also couldn't believe the price! The gentleman cut the piece I needed and I was so excited to get it I actually gave him $5.00 even though he told me the cost was only $1.70. Great place for stained glass and supplies too.
