Masonry Work
We signed a contract with Herman Sanders, owner of Sanders Masonry & Concrete, on April 2, 2006, for the completion of a brick and concrete patio. The contract terms stated the project would be complete in seven days for the cost of $8,150. To date (July 26), more than 70 days have passed and the project is not complete. We have paid the contractor $7,575 of the contracted dollar amount, to cover supplies and labor, but he has only completed approximately 70% of the project. On May 19, he took a check for $1,000 to cover the cost of concrete with the promise that it would be poured the following Monday. As of that date, we have neither seen nor heard from him. He stopped returning calls and will no longer communicate with us. He has abandoned our project and stolen money from us. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
