Great experience with Rose Roofing. Professional, fast and clean work. As a retired construction professional i can say without a doubt, the most important part of most jobs is, the installation. It doesn't matter how great the materials are, if not installed correctly, it simply will not perform properly. Larry arrived promptly on a Saturday morning and reviewed the situation.  He provided a quote on the spot and immediately completed the repairs.  He was great to work with.

We needed to have a pipe collar on the roof repaired that caused a minor ceiling leak after heavy rains.  We wanted to have the repair completed as soon as possible to avoid any further damage in case of rain.  The businesses we initially called did not have any appointments available during July 4th week.  Mr. Rose of Rose Roofing agreed to come the next day on July 4th.  He was prompt and completed the job.  He also agreed to check and clean out areas of gutter that had become clogged. We greatly appreciate Mr. Rose's prompt response and offer to work on a holiday.

Larry came out to give an estimate to replace 2 pipe collars on our  roof.  I received estimates from 4 other roofers.  His price was fair, not the least expensive, but fair and I liked that he did the work himself.  He communicated well ,showed up as promised, and completed the job in a timely manner.

You can tell Mr. Rose cares very much about doing a good job. From the amount of time he spent with us the day he provided an estimate, to the work he did on the roof, he showed that he wants to do the job right. He gave us a competitive price on the shingles, and he took the time to explain the differences and advantages of different kinds. He did not use subcontractors, so you are not going to get a new roof in a day. But we didn't mind that at all. He showed up when he said he would and was very careful each day about tackling only the amount of roof that he could finish, given uncertain weather conditions in the spring. He was respectful of our landscaping and used a magnet to try to get all of the roofing nails. We still found some after he left, but I think he made a good effort. The roof looks fantastic, and we have been very pleased with his workmanship.

Larry came by and gave me a written quote with all the details of what was needed to replace my roof.  I explained I had leaks in the roof and he was good at explaining why there were problems in some areas (poor work by previous roofer).  Larry was good at showing up on time, and if there was poor weather in the forecast, he would call to let me know he would not be in.  He was very good at communicating throughout the process, and I was amazed that he did the entire job by himself!  He explained that he preferred working alone because he could not always guarantee that a worker under him would complete the work at  the level of quality that he expected.  He was very good at cleaning up on site at the end of every day, and he was mindful of not letting debris from the old roof hit bushes around the house.  In cleaning up at the end, Larry used a magnet to make sure he had gotten all the nails that had come off from the older roofing.....Overall I was very pleased with the work Larry did for me. He was highly professional and I would strongly recommend him to anyone considering a new roof.

I was impressed with Larry from the first day he visited to quote the job.  I called him to quote replacement of the roof of my home and the attached patio and he showed up precisely as promised.  He surprised me right away by recommending that I not replace the patio roof because it still had quite a few years of life remaining - and he proceeded to show me the reasons why he made that recommendation.  All the other roofing contractors that I had already talked with were anxious to replace both roofs.  He explained his work process fully and impressed me with his attention to details important to a quality job.  Once I learned that he not only owns the company but also does the work, I was sold on Rose Roofing.  His price was competitive.

Larry arrived on site before the crack of dawn - as promised - to start the job.  He kept the job site clean despite being an inherently messy job.  Having done quite a bit of homework on what makes for a quality roofing job, I was delighted immediately with his work - from straight courses, to carefully woven valleys, to 6 nails per shingle, to perfectly positioned ridge caps.  The result was a roofing job that was everything that I expected - and I have high expectations. 

I would highly recommend Rose Roofing if you are looking for an honest craftsman who takes pride in what he does.  It was refreshing to get quoted by the same person who owns the company, does the work, and makes certain that you are satisfied in the end.   Since he does not hire subs to do the job, it probably took a little longer than if a large crew was used.  However, I believe that the personal attention to every step in the process was well worth the extra time required for the job.

Owner himself did the work.  Nice fellow.  Easy job for him -- he came in the morning and got it all done in about an hour.  It turned out neat.  All in all a good experience because he did what he said he would, when he said he would for the quoted price with no surprises.  

I contacted several companies to have the roof replaced on my house. Most companies only talked about getting the insurance involved. One company even told me he wouldn't do the job unless he could contact the insurance company. I ended the conversation there. My insurance was involved and did give me money to have the work completed. Larry was 1 of 2 companies out of the 8 that I contacted that gave me a quote without wanting to talk the my insurance company. Larry was the only person/company that I spoke with that talked to me about why he was good. He took the time to explain to me how he did the work and why other companies were sub standard. The only mention of insurance was after he looked at the roof and confirmed there was storm damage. He said my roof was worse than others he had replaced where the insurance paid for it. And that was it. There was no pressure from him at all. He works alone so it took him a little over a week to do my 1234 sq ft house. The pricing was right around what the other company quoted adn what the insurance gave me. I will say that he didn't return any calls until the evening. I am very satisfied with the roof. I will definitely recomend him to anyone.

I liked him.  He did a good job. It was a difficult job due to the challenges with maneuvering because of the way the property is layed out.  Tjhe only thing is make sure that you go around the house and make sure he gets all the debri that falls down. I found some old roofing in the bushes, but  he probably didn't see it.   He did good job other than that. Also if you need the job done quickly, he may not be able get to you.  He works on his own now when in the past he used to be with a bigger company.

Larry stands behind his work. Quality and costumer satisfaction are important to him.

Down-to-earth individual and explained the process very well. During the process, he didn't trample any flowers or shrubs. He cleaned up daily as if no one had been at the house. He did not sub-out any work. He works alone, so it won't be done in a day, but if you want it done right and have the time then Larry is your guy. I saw other crews come into the neighborhood and complete a roof in a day. I am sure that they didn't make any repairs as they worked. Furthermore, with these other crews working off a single compressor, I don't think that the nail gets driven in completely. Eventually the neighbor's roofs are going to start popping up nails, long before ours will. I would definitely use Larry's services in the future.

We were very pleased, we thought he did a very thorough job. We have had no problems since the work and we would definitely use them again if needed.

Larry quotes the job and does the work. He previously had done some repairs for us we were very happy with so we called him to bid the roof. His quote was significantly less than the insurance agent's buddy which made it a very easy choice. Larry came out and did the roof section by section over a couple of weeks, never leaving us open to water damage or other issues (like the roofers who did a few of our neighbors, that actually did entire jobs in the rain.) None of our plants were harmed and we have flower beds on 2 sides. Larry also fixed several flashing issues the original builder had created by not finishing the job. He did not charge extra for these. He also used the proper architectural ridge cap shingles whereas the home-builder had used a cheaper 1 sheet substitute. I would call Larry again, most especially if I was paying the whole bill instead of the insurance company.

I went well. Quick, easy and simple.

The roof was put on 4 years ago. He's really good guy. He pretty much worked as we needed it done at the time. The price was fair. If he only worked a half of a day because of the heat, he would call in the afternoon to see how everything was and to say when he would be back.

Larry did a fantastic job, I plan to have him come back out to install a roof fan. Talking around with others that have had similar work: for the materials and craftsmanship, I received an extremely fair deal. He does not rush the roof like I have seen others in the neighborhood doing. Larry takes pride in his work and because of that we now have a roof we can be proud of. I only wish Larry did more than just roofs since I will not need another for 30 years. We are very pleased.

Larry actually performed the work last fall. He did a great job as always! He completed a roof replacement for me a few years ago on another house and I had no hesitation to use him again for this one. He did an outstanding job, by himself, removing the old shingles and loading them onto a tarp on the ground, keeping everything clean. He applied the new sheeting and shingles in sections and did a great job of sealing around the chimney and vents. He finished the job on schedule, in less than a week, and the price was very reasonable.

He was on-time, did all the work that I requested and then proceeded to clean my gutters of leaves and other debris at no charge. He fixed a gutter problem that had been with the house since it was built 10 years ago. I gave him a $50 dollar tip over and above the $250 charge for the original work.

He did a good job and worked by himself. He was very easy to talk to and a great craftsman. This project took about one and half week for about 44 sqft. It was easy getting in touch with the company and setting the appointment. They gave me a quote and were okay with a bit of negotiation. Overall, this is just a good company to work with. He cleaned up everyday and kept the work site clean. He only tore off as much as he could put on at one time, so I never had to worry about the roof leaking.
