The agreement was that he needed to haul out dirt. But, when he did the job, he told me he didn't need to haul it out (but still charged me). Then, when I told him it was too high against the garage, causing flooding, he flip-flopped again saying he did haul the dirt out - did he or didn't he? should I have to wonder about this? He also did not grade properly so I ended up with a flooding problem in my garage. Further, he did NOT rake out the dirt he churned up and left uneven soil with huge clayballs, building materials, etc. When the "grass" grew in it was ALL weeds, the ground was pitted horribly and there were patches everywhere with no grass. When he came back to look, he said he did haul dirt away, didn't see a grading issue and swore those horizontally growing sticks were grass. I've had 3 other landscapers (plus friends) come to look at his work and they all laughed hysterically. I will say that he was timely and did return phone calls but...
