Chris returned my call within minutes. I described the job to be done and provided him some preliminary information, and he called me back the next day with his estimate (as he said he would). Chris showed up to do the survey on time, and performed the survey in a very efficient and professional manner. When he was finished, he conducted a complete walkthrough of our lot boundaries for my wife and me, and answered all our questions. Chris is very knowledgeable about his profession. He obviously enjoys his work, and is good at it. If I ever have a need for another land survey, I will definitely call Rhyne Land Surveying.

I contacted Chris Rhyne to perform a survey of my property lines in preparation for a new fence. Chris started the survey two days later but ran into some obstacles with missing stakes on my property and some of the stakes on neighboring properties had shifted due to tree roots and the like. After some additional research, Chris came back out and completed the survey. He added the missing stakes and performed a detailed walk-through of his survey findings. I could not have been more pleased with the service that he provided.

Chris Rhyne called before coming, arrived shortly afterward. I directed him to front existing property stakes. (Others were lost to me in the woods -- new-to-me home.) Chris set up his modern equipment, and proceeded to find the other stakes, then to measure them. He came armed with the registered platt, including my property. I also had a 2000 survey to give him, which matched the platt. He spent significant time checking, because the property stakes were not to the platt. (I have since been told by others that the original surveyor is in jail, but I have not confirmed this.) Once the property points were established, he proceeded to lay out additional stakes along the boundary lines. Total time taken was about 5-6 hours. He was personable and professional in his actions. As a licensed engineer, I was able to judge that Chris was highly knowledgeable of his equipment, and of advanced surveying techniques. I was fully satisfied with the quality of his work, and would recommend him to anyone. In fact, I was sufficiently satisfied that I elected to pay him more than his stated quote, because, in my opinion, he performed more work than I had anticipated. He in no way suggested this -- it was entirely my instigation and decision.

"Thank you for your feedback. I was happy to do what was required to be certain the job was done to standards required by my profession. As a contract amount was agreed on (as is my standard practice), time spent does not effect price."

I am overwhelmingly pleased with Mr.Rhyne's service.
I made arrangements for the survey on Monday, July 11th; giving Mr. Rhyne facts about the property.
He researched descriptions of the property, from aerial maps, and deeds dating back to 1925.
When I arrived on the site. Mr.Rhyne was on the job, and working.
Mr.Rhyne is professional, and patient. He even took the time to converse over the telephone, with my 92 year old cousin who had lived in the house prior to granting it to me.
He provided me with several signed and certified copies of the completed survey.
It's very detailed and show the distance from the house to the property lines, and the location of the original metal stakes.
He even drove in longer stakes, and placed pvc pipes over the spikes located in the rear of the property,to make them easier to find since they were covered with thick brush.
Having such a detailed map provides a sense of security.

Excellent. Chris came the very next day after our call, and had our property surveyed, staked, and survey map prepared all based on our verbal agreement. Chris took the time the following evening at our convenience to bring the survey map, walk the property line, and explain where various points wre located (such as fence, building edge, etc.) in relation to the survey points and property boundary. Highly recommended - will use him again - have already referred him to several friends and coworkers.

Rhyne Land Surveying did a very thorough survey of our lot. He took his time, walked out the entire yard, and marked all the boundaries. The survey he provided was very professional and detailed, including impervious area, house measurements, and overall boundary measurements He also provided us with measurements from the corners of our house to the edge of the property on each side. The survey revealed that we own much more land outside the rear fence that was built prior to us buying the house. It's amazing what you find out about property lines with a good survey. I recommend Ryne to anyone purchasing real estate, or if you just want to have an accurate picture of your property for future projects, etc.

I had a very positive experience with Chris from Rhyne Land Surveying. He returned my initial phone call within 24 hours (on a Friday evening) and provided a quote over the phone. The work was started early the next week and completed within two days. I happened to be home on day two of the project and Chris was at my property for no less than 4 hours. He staked my yard very thoroughly and then came back later that evening to deliver the hard copies of the map and walk us around the property to ensure we had a clear understanding of the boundries. I definitely got more than I paid for with Rhyne Land Surveying and would highly recommend the company.

Chris was very professional and took his time making the necessary measurements for producing a finely detailed map despite the cold and nasty weather we have been experiencing. He returned after a couple of days to deliver the map and mark the lot corners. He placed PVC piping at the rebar locations on the corners in response to our request to make it easier to for us to find the markers later. I was very happy with his work.

I called the cell number from his web site, and he answered right away. He gave me a price on the phone, and came out the next day and completed the job.

My neighbor put a small building on what looked like a few inches over into my property. I found Chris in a search engine under "Charlotte Survey". I sent an email from his website asking for an estimate for a survey. He responded by telephone the same afternoon which was a Saturday. He gave me the estimate for what I needed and for a more in depth survey. The survey he actually performed was sufficient. He made an appointment for the next business day. He was there on time and explained the written survey that he gave to me and had also clearly inserted stakes in the ground with orange flags. Fortunately the neighbor was not on my property and I already have the information that I need to have a privacy fence installed.
