Fantastic. They got a contract for my house in only 2 days for a price over 99% of the asking price.

Joy and her husband arrived on time. She was very businesslike and serious and went through the house on her own. Her husband went through separately, taking photographs. They did not stay long, and had very little to say, and asked few questions. The entire experience felt pretty cold. I told her I was trying to gather information to share with my family at a meeting on July 5 so that we could decide what to do about the house. She said she would get back to me soon with more information.
I called her on July 3 (on my way out of town to the family meeting) to ask if she could give me any information over the phone. She said she was working with so many contracts that she had not had time to gather any information for me.
I understand that she was providing a free service, but I would have felt much better had she just said she could not be available until she was less busy (or at least called me before I had to call her).

Joy was phenomenal from beginning to end. Prior to listing our house she did a thorough, detailed analysis of sales in our area. The real estate market had not yet fully recovered of course, but she was patient in explaining why she thought our house would bring what she recommended and best of all had numbers to demonstrate exactly how she arrived at her figure. She was very patient in answering all of our questions and took the time to make sure we understood everything.

While our house was listed we had two offers that involved lengthy negotiations but ultimately my husband and I decided to decline. After the second one I was afraid she would be fed up with us, but if she felt any impatience she once again showed the ultimate in professionalism and never let on. Luckily, right after we turned down the second offer we fielded multiple offers in about 36 hours. Although Joy had just left town for a brief vacation (and well deserved I must say) she stayed in touch with us and the contra agents, and negotiated an offer that we felt was quite acceptable.

Then began the process of inspection and repairs. My husband had questions and concerns about some of the repairs requested and Joy was once again a stellar professional in requesting and obtaining adequate information that put my husband's mind at ease. We were able to get the repairs addressed in time for closing. At closing, after I had signed my papers and was leaving the building with Joy, we realized that the funds to pay for the repairs had not been included in the closing documents. Joy again came to the rescue bringing it to the attention of the buyers and arranging for my husband and I pay that out of pocket directly to the company that did the repairs.

Throughout the process Joy never flagged in working as hard for us as if we'd had a multi-million dollar home. Emails and phone calls were returned promptly and Joy seemed at times to never sleep as she answered emails well into the evening hours.

My husband and I have worked with a number of agents over the years as we've relocated numerous times. None were bad, and a couple have been really good but so far Joy has topped the list with her attentiveness, thoroughness, and timely support which was exceeded only by her patient and kind manner. I would not hesitate to use Joy again and can recommend her without any reservations.

On a final note, I estimated what Joy's compensation was because I don't recall. In the interest of full disclosure I also want to point out that ours was a job relocation with all our moving expenses, including real estate transaction costs, reimbursed by an employer, so ultimately we were not directly responsible for compensation to Joy.

They were wonderful and a good team. I put my home on the market when there were at least 5 other homes on the market within a 3 block radius of my home and mine sold the fastest. Joy and Chelsea made a great pamphlet really highlighting my home and had an open house approx 2 weeks after my home was on the market. It was during the open house that a couple saw it and made an offer. Joy and Chelsea did a great job keeping me in the loop through this entire process, since I had already moved out of state during the sale. Joy also did a great job overseeing the repairs to the house that the buyers requested from the inspection. Overall, I would definitely recommend Joy and Chelsea to friends and family.

In a total of 5 days looking at houses we found one each day that we could have bought. Joy went thru each house as if she was buying it and checked to see if it had all the items we were looking for-despite our daily changes in those items. When our house sold she immediately checked on the house we had liked best. Although that house was not available she started to research new properties and again cleared her schedule when we came down 3 weeks later. We signed the agreement on our way to the airport! Joy watched the progress of the house, arranged for a home inspection and lawyer for the closing. She was especially helpful in reading all the documents involved to be sure that our interests were served and there were no surprises. Despite our limited time, I think we bought the perfect house!

Joy was a pleasure to work with. I was relocating. She was knowledge able about all of Charlotte's many neighborhoods. She quickly zoomed into the type of house I was looking for. It was as if she could read my thoughts. The house she found has everything on my wish list. But in ADDITION she helped me with every aspect of the buying process. She helped me with inspections. She dealt with the other party with grace and expertise. She handled the smallest of details quickly. She was always available via phone, even on Sunday. She was amazing. She kept MY needs in focus. She didn't "just make a sale", she took "care" of her client, me! I am amazed and very happy I picked her. You will be too! : )
