Ray was absolutely incredible. He genuinely acted in our best interests. He brought us to countless homes until we found the home that fit exactly what we were looking for. There were a few houses that my wife & I liked and we likely would have made an offer. Ray would have gotten a quick sale if he simply said ?If you like it, let?s make an offer!?.
Instead of getting that quick commission check, he showed us all the things that we need to consider before putting in an offer. After hearing him out, we made the right decision and walked away from the house, and we are so grateful that we did. On multiple houses, he looked us in the eye and said, "this is not for you" or "they are asking for way too much money, walk away". This is such a change from previous realtors we've worked with in the past that would show you a house and do whatever selling tactic it took to get us to entertain putting in an offer. Ray was the opposite? the reason why he is such a successful realtor is because he sticks to one simple concept--- ?if I move you into a house that I know you will love, you will recommend me to friends and family, and if you move again in the future, I hope I?ve earned your business?
Regarding the ease of getting in touch with him: He was prompt with emails & texts, and always answered our phone calls regardless of the time of day or day of week.
Now lets move to the point when we found the home we wanted:
He went to the design center with us, and stayed with us the entire 3 hours, providing us advice such adding things that will truly add value and be an investment as well as telling us which upgrades will lose us money when it comes time to sell our home.
When it came to putting in an offer, he ensured we got the best deal possible through negotiations. Furthermore, he handled every piece of paperwork you could imagine and anything that we as buyers needed to do, he would walk us through it. After we closed on the house, he handed us a gift? an incredibly generous gift. It was such a nice gesture.
The reason I will recommend him to anyone is because the way he treated us is the way you would treat family. As a result of his honesty and genuine good nature, he earned a customer for life. He?s a great realtor and even better person.
Even when there were a few issues on the home inspection, Ray met the repair men for us and made sure everything was done correctly. I don't think it would have gone as well, if we didn't have such a dedicated Realtor representing us. He really took a personal interest and cared about the whole process, knowing what we would and would not accept and paying close attention to all the details.
